3M VHB Adhesive Pads Double-Sided Replacement Mounting Tape 4-Pack

Works great! Having moved dash cameras to new cars, we needed more tape. Adhesion strength quality is wonderful considering we live in the Texas heat (I recommend installing in shade and letting it sit for a couple of hours before attempting to hang anything or apply weight for best results), I had to cut to fit size but that wasn’t a problem. Easy to install, definitely a great price for the quantity.

Some didn't stick

I don’t know how I came upon ordering these but I needed it really bad and I can’t believe how fabulous it works! I could not get anything to stick to the back of the surface of my phone, I had nearly given up!

Still sticking to my dashboard after months of using it. Not sure if it’s going to peel up in the summer heat. It seems like it might be peeling a little bit.

Holds up well in hot environments. I'm using this to attach a Scan Gauge under my dashboard. Other double sided tapes did not work. Temperatures in the car have reached over 100F and the adhesive is still holding firm. I'm slightly concerned that I won't be able to remove it cleanly but I'll cross that bridge later.

I did a lot of research for what would be the best double sided adhesive tape would be the best, as my standard 3M tape (that I would cut size) would come undone after about 2-3 months. I read that the VHB rated adhesive tape is the best to use for hot heat and for cold weather too. The precut size was absolutely perfect for what I needed. Be sure to read and follow the instructions for “hopefully” better results. East instruction breakdown: Clean surface with included pad. Peal back the brown part and stick on item. Press down for 2 minutes. Then let sit for 2 hours before installing. Clean application area and make sure it’s dry. Then when applying, be sure to hold/press it down for 5 minutes. The instructions say for best adhesion, you should avoid using the device (adding weight) 24 hours. Fingers crossed that I finally found a good option that won’t keep coming loose after a few months.

I wanted to use these to adhere my dash camera to the inside of my windshield, after moving it from my old car to the new car. All surfaces were thoroughly and properly prepared, and installation instructions followed properly. The 3M tape that came with the camera was so secure in my last car that it was a real struggle to remove. These ones do not stick well, and fell off as soon as the outside temperature reached 80ºF. Not sure if they're old, improperly stored, or what, but not the 3M quality I was expecting.

Didn't work for me on dash to hold cell phone holder. Kept peeling off.
