I thought it would be thicker
It's a little thin for the yarns I wanted to pair it with. They are the same weight and type, but this one is just a little thin and did not match up well. I like this brand and will definitely buy more.

Dependable to use and economical
I like the variations in the greens in this yarn and love to use it to suggest leaves with pastel colors of yarn as flowers. I have finished crocheting with two skeins with no knots or thin places in the yarn. I have used this before and do not find variation in the colors, no worry about matching dye lots. Not the most luxurious feeling yarn, but dependable.

Easy to Work With
Red Heart Super Saver is my favorite yarn to work with. It's machine washable and dryable, a good weight, and not too slippery or stretchy. However, the pirce is a little steep; you can get a better value at one of the big box craft stores.

Works well for stiffer projects
My wife used this to crochet (or knit? I’m not sure) these xtree hats and it worked well for that kind of project. But it is soft enough for any other.
