I don"t think so, its pretty, but a little to "perfect"

Is it a heart shaped stone?

No. It is more of an oval but it’s beautiful and definitely looks more expensive than it was

Does the silver tarnish to copper? I've had that problem with previous jewelery

Purchased in January for my best friend. She wears it most days (I see her almost every day) and sleeps in it often. (Since it is opal, it can't be worn into the shower of course.) It is a nice ring, obviously not as fine as fine jewelry. Extremely close inspection makes this clear, but for the price, it is an excellent deal. Her ring has not tarnished and it is now going on 8 months. Whether or not it is solid 925, I may never be able to verify (it is stamped 925, but this is no guarantee of course). If it is silver plated, it is a substantial plating so far. The fake opal looks pretty authentic. I have however, had the problem of reordering the same item several months later, and having it come from a different factory in china or whatever, and thus, the quality is sometimes like night and day. Thank goodness for free returns tho ;-) I would take a chance on it. Hope this helps.

Great piece to add to the jewelry box! Very pretty and not gaudy at all.

This ring is very pretty and the "opal" is very colorful. Seems true to a size chart for fit. Perfect for wanting to have a bit of bling. Seems durable and should wear well. Band width is comfortable and securely stays in place. I haven't felt any unfinished edges with the metal so it's very comfortable wearing.

Beautiful Until Stone Fell Out!

This ring was a great purchase for me. I have another wedding ring that is opal, but I have lost weight and it slides off easily. I bought this celtic knot, stainless steel, opal ring in a smaller size, so I could go swimming and not have it fall off. The opal is very sparkly and the stainless steel looks like silver. I am a painter and crafter, so I use my hands a lot. Wearing my ring is important to me, but I didn't pay much for this one and I can still do my thing without worrying that I am going to ruin it, I thought. Turning your finger green - this ring doesn't do that. My husband was so pleased when he saw it and so was I. Unfortunately, the stone came out and is nowhere to be found about 2 weeks into the wearing of the ring. I was so sad.

Plastic opal

It's a plastic opal. I still like it and I will wear it. I just thought it was going to be glass. Fits well and I like the design. Feels comfortable on my finger.

Very pretty ring for the price

A very pretty little ring. I don't think the product pics on Amazon do it justice. The flash from the stone is much more noticeable than the pics suggest. Others have reported the stone is loose and some fall out. Mine seems quite firmly set. For the price, this is a lovely ring!
