Soundstream BX-15 Bass Processor – Car Audio Bass Restoration Processor with Remote Control | Epicenter Alternative for Factory & Aftermarket Sound Systems | Subwoofer Control Enhancer

First off this has cleaned up my bass tremendously and I didn't even realize it was that muddy till after installing this. As for a lot of people saying it only helps with bass on songs without any bass... That is not the case in my system. I have 2 10" dvc kicker solo baric subs 10 Guage speaker wire a Rockville 2000 Watt amp with 2 gauge positive connected to an 8 farad capacitor that also has 2 Guage wire going to Alternator to battery wire (helped with dimming lights) on its own 150 amp fuse (Alternator has 250 amp fuse), big 3 upgrade (2 pos. and 0 Guage neg.) As well as 0 Guage neg. On cap. and amp. And a yellow top battery that runs car and system (for now). I have had no issues with the bass in any of my music both without and with bass. I also did something most people probably didn't and that was I have 2 bass knobs one on the soundstream and one before just before it in the rca line and I noticed a huge difference after installing the second one. Also make sure you tune both your amp and the soundstream together as that helps clean it up and tune bass to your preference. I hope this information helps someone looking at this and others who have already bought it. Sorry so long but car audio isn't easy to explain in a short answer lol especially this situation.

I originally skeptical about the function and sound quality of this unit compared to an audio source bass restorer. I must admit that I'm am satisfied with the overall package for the cost. Unit is Aesthetically pleasing, Makes a difference on the low end punch and is flexible. The base knob though plastic gets the job done. I like the fact that the knobs for the settings and bass knob are retractable. Users have complained about the peak level meters on the spiders eyes not lighting red anymore. Well, if you don't match the amplifier levels to the levels of this unit you are more than likely going to overload this unit. The leds on the spider's eyes act as a peak level meter, if they blink blue you are in the safe zone but if they blink red or is continually red your clipping and are risking damaging the Amplifier, Bass unit or speakers. I took my time used 8 gauge wiring good quality RCA's adjust the levels on the Head unit, Amp and Bass restorer and am very satisfied with the results. Soundstream customer service was very good and knowledgeable. Great deal for the money if used correctly.

So far no complain from him about the product. My husband was able to install it with no hassle and he loves messing with his sound quality on his truck. So I think he loves this product. I see that he always sticks to this brand so it must be a good buy.

Only complaint is bass knob isn't an option that works well with this product. Other than that it does it's job.
