Upgrades..
Bought to make a more rugged version of a show controller. Nice size, slightly larger than the plastic one I'd originally used which was lucky as the main button was deeper than i planned for.Drills well, doesn't need much force (in fact I'd avoid using force to get through the case. Took paint well though I should have sanded it to get a good key for the undercoat.Files nicely too. Had to finagle a slot for a USB and while or took some work, it wasn't a forever job to drill it and square a hole.

Not used as stomp boxes.
Used these to mount cctv cameras so that I could run the poe cable in conduit. Drilled a few holes, added a bit of silicone sealant. Perfect for what I wanted.

Ideal substitutes for genuine Hammond enclosures
Perfect 1590BB sized enclosures. Photos obviously taken after they’d been drilled and painted.

inaccurate dimensions
Decent quality diecast box but dimensions are way off - 4mm smaller in each dimension.

Les boîtes sont très bien réalisées et très propres.Elles sont filmées individuellements, cool pour les stocker.Trop petites pour mon projet, j’en commande d’autres.Bonnes boites.

handige diy-box
Door mij gebruikt voor het maken van CB-radio heatkit. Stevige aluminium bakjes die goed sluiten. Geen rubberrand tussen bak en deksel en dus niet geschikt voor buiten. Ze sluiten wel vloeistofdicht af door een geintergreerde rand in het deksel.

Wrong dimnsions
The boxes are unusable because they are not 65mm wide as stated on the picture and in the dimensions under the picture. The real dimensions ar 115x35x35, which is totally unusable

SUPERB for build you own guitar pedals
I wanted to make some passive volume controls for my electric guitar equipment and these enclosures are perfect. The boxes are a good thickness of aluminium and fit together really snugly with a nice raised lip inside. The threaded holes and screws are well cut and not issue with closing and tightening the back. I purchased the 100x25x50 (see my pictures) enclosures and the only thing to be careful about is if fitting a jack plug then you have to measure to be exactly in the middle with the back fitted.Washed in soapy water to remove and oily residue, brushed with some fine wirewool and sprayed, these look as good as any purchased guitar pedals.The enclosure were delivered super fast and well packaged.So for any guitar pedal project which can be fitted in a relatively small enclosure these are great. Highly recommended.
