Good entry-level head set.
Solidly built. Effective and affordable. No active noise canceling at this price point for an American product. Good entry level headset for Pilot Training.

Great Headset
This was my first headset purchase as I only began my PPL training a few weeks ago. I did some research online and it quickly became evident that David Clark is one of the leading brands for GA headsets. My CFI also recommended I stick with David Clark until I decide to upgrade to an ANR headset (Such as the Lightspeed's or Bose).I can only compare them to the ASA loaners I was using, but they are noticeably better in all aspects. They're comfortable, well-made, and everything is crystal clear. They allow just enough noise in for me as I like to hear some of the engine, but of course provide all the hearing protection you need'll need.Overall, there's not much to say that hasn't already been said about these. They doing everything well and are priced reasonably. Can't go wrong.

Great headset, and very comfortable.
I am a student pilot. I got tired of using the beat up and ragged headsets that are in the 172 I rent. On the advice of my CFI, I picked up a set of these bad boys. There is a reason David Clark is still number on in the industry. They make really good stuff!! These H10's are very comfortable, and fit very good. They block out a ton of noise, and the sound quality is excellent! If you are a student pilot, and just starting out, do yourself a favor and pick up a set of these. Your ears and head will thank you! Being comfortable in the cockpit is very important as it allows you to focus on flying the plane, and not how bad your head or ears hurt from a janky headset.I like them so much, that I bought my wife a pair to use when we go flying now.

Good for starters!
This is a good headset for student pilots starting out and not wanting to spend a fortune on a headset. The dials on the sides adjust the volume of each ear allowing for custom volume.

comfortable excellent reasonably priced headset
Arrived quickly. Work perfectly. Very comfortable. Only problem when I first got them the right ear speaker didn't work but then minutes into flight out started working. Don't know why that happeNed.

A rugged performer
I love mine so much I bought a second pair for my passenger. These things are incredibly robust; nothing feels cheap or flimsy. David Clark has a solid reputation and that is what initially drew me to them, and their simplicity brought me back.In the airplane I never think about them once they're on my head. They stay put, they're comfortable and pretty light. The ear cups can get a little warm on a hot day, but I've only ever noticed it once I've taken them off (I have yet to try the fuzzy ear covers). The sound in the cans is clear and can be as loud as you'd ever want. The mic does a great job of picking up a voice and leaving all the extra cabin noise to a minimum. When it comes time to add more headsets to my flight bag, it will be these.

Great headset for beginner/experience pilot.
This headset has a long lasting reputation in the aviation world. I am a student pilot currently and was looking for a good headset. This was recommended to me by many many pilots both young and old. Very comfortable on longer cross-country legs. Easy to control, great noise cancellation even for being passive. When recommended to me the exact words were "I've had mine for 10 years and they still work great, I now use them as a passenger spare".
