Don’t work for dogs digging the lawn but may work for smaller pests. Though it did not work for my application the manufacturer unconditionally guarantees this product so I cannot complain.

We bought one can and it didn't work. Decided to try another in case we didn't put enough down (our lawn is only about 400 sq. feet). It still didn't work. The rabbits just hop right in and start eating.

I bought this product to discourage bunnies and dogs from focusing a couple of spots on my lawn. I figured that any scented deterrent would suffice. However, a couple of nights ago I had a raccoon come and dig up a patch of my sodded lawn. In my experience, once a raccoon finds a few worms and grubs, they return every night until they exhaust the supply. So I sprinkled a little animal stopper over the sodded area (maybe 1/4 cup per sq yard) and waited to see what happened. It's two days on now and the raccoons have not yet gone for another dig. I'm attributing that that to the effectiveness of this product. Five stars so far! Here's an update a couple of months on. After about a week and a half the raccoon returned to turn up my lawn again. It's summer and I'm watering every other day, so I'd guess the deterrent effect is getting washed away. I reset the lawn and reapplied the product, but the raccoon came back the very next night to turn the sod over again. I guess it was willing to deal with the smell. This time time I applied the product under the turf before replacing it hoping that the smell would get more intense the deeper the raccoon got into the sod. That application kept the little critter away for about six weeks. It has come back to visit, turning up the edges a bit each night, but no more flipping. So if your problem is a sod-flipping raccoon, try applying the product to the soil under the sod, then a little up top. You might have better luck and more lasting results. I did have to reapply after six weeks though.

Effective and affordable.

This was recommended by my father in law bc he uses it religiously each year. Total fail for my lawn. I followed the directions and made a perimeter around my garden and rabbits still eat my stuff…maybe the rabbits are smarter in our neighborhood…need an alternate solution, but I will say it works for my father in law so best of luck.

Skunk made a home under our deck and board walk behind house. Smell would seep into house in the evening. "OH PHEW". I sprinkled this product on the boards and swept it between the cracks. No more skunk! It does not kill but simply chases them away with a very pleasant smell. Works on a lot of other critters too.It's a whole bucnh cheaper than an exterminator or relocator. Some farm stores also carry it but not in the winter. About the same price but ordering 2 gets you free shipping. Great deal on a product that works. You do have to use it once a month to keep critters away around a garden but last year once skunk left it did not come back.
