Creative Playthings Bucket Swing (Rope)

This review is for the Bucket Toddler Swing with Rope. I have owned this now for about six months. This swing arrived in a fairly large box. It arrives all put together, no assembly required. Quality, heavy plastic; heavy metal brackets and hinges. Fairly good quality rope and bound well. Simply take out of box and hang on your swing set. This product has a slightly higher back than the front. This is a nice feature. My 2yr old readily took to the swing, and when swinging, puts her arms easily around the triangle and uses them (both front and back) to hang on. Only slight dissatifaction is that when it rains the direct bottom of the seat will hold a slight water puddle. This swing has easily gone 10k times and still looks new. Not even rub marks yet on the back center where papa has to push. This swing survived the brutal hot 2011 summer we had and shows no sign of color fade, metal fatigue, rope frizzle, rust, or simply that it was even used. I am convinced that this is commercial/school playground quality. Our son was just born, and it will outlast his upcoming years of use as well, with no doubt in my mind. Another nice feature is that the leg openings are just right for easy up/down, and in/out for my daughter. No fuss, no muss. She is well protected and supported. Simply stated- it's built well. This swing is used on a Little Tikes Endless Adventures Playcenter Playground.

I bought this for my infant boy when he was 6mo old. I did not want to get a plastic/sleigh style swing but was concerned that a bucket swing might be too big for him to sit in comfortably/safely. I decided to take a chance anyways with this swing. It turned out to work great for us (my son is a little taller than average for his age and sat up pretty well already). Nice that there is room for him to grow into it as he gets bigger so I imagine this toy will last us for a while.

For some reason, the little one is not comfortable in the swing. Maybe the leg holes are too tight or something.

My granddaughter loves this swing. It is very durable, and the green color is cheerful and looks nice in our back yard. The material is a stiffer, harder plastic than the black rubber ones you would typically find in a public park. It seems to be a tad less comfortable than the park swings, but just as durable. After almost one year in of Florida weather, the swing still looks like new, with no signs of wear. When our granddaughter was very little (4-8 months or so) we used this swing with the Hugga-Bebe cushion to hold her up and steady - perfect! This swing is a little pricey, but won't be outgrown as quickly as other styles of baby swings. You will need to add more rope or chain and possibly hardware to hang the swing from a tree or swingset, as the rope that comes with it is short.

I use this swing for a 8 month old and a 3 year old. They both love it. I have always wanted a "park" quality swing at home because they work so well with young kids. This swing works perfect. I attached it to a trapeze bar on my swing set. This way I can remove it when older kids want to use the trapeze bar. I went to Home Depot and got hooks to attach it.

Yes, this swing is great. Our 22 month old granddaughter loves it. It's easy to get her in and out of.I must say, it does hold a little rain in it- contrary to another's review. But once we knew that, we wipe it out easily.Even though it's made of rubber, it looks very natural in our garden setting.

This swing is perfect! I got it for my granddaughter who is 10 months old. All the Little Tikes swings did not look safe to me. This one is so easy and so safe. I love the fact that it will last and there is no plastic that will break. Highly recommend this swing!

Great swing, extremely sturdy and supportive for my grandchildren. My only complaint was that I ordered a rope connection because I was attaching it to a tree, and I was surprised that the last 5 inches were chain. I assume to attach to a swing set but it called for some adaption on my part.
