Very nice, quality bench. Relatively sturdy considering it built of tubes. It serves needs as perfectly as possible. As advertised/better than expected. I have a roman tub & standard size bench is perfect for my bath area. However, rail height is quite close to clearance of R tub edge...abt 1". Any higher is too high for me as feet barely touch ground. Available, extra, leg extensions for higher tub edge clearance, & feet won't touch ground. Easy assembly w/push button and click in tube holes. No tools needed. Everything locks in place as promised. The levers work well for weak hands to slide & rotate seat. Also ordered the extra length bench for size/space comparisons but, the XL wasn't necessary so it was returned -UNUSED- for full refund. Overall, this was a big winner in my book!

Waaaaay overpriced, BUT it's good stuff. Here's the deal with this or ANY bath transfer bench; NONE are truly universal and NONE will fit ALL tubs perfectly. This bench and chair work very well with my mom's tub....BUT because of how her bathroom is designed, leaving it in place hampers her access to the toilet that also has a handicap frame installed. Simple cure is that I lift and rotate the bench and place it long ways in the tub when not in use. It weighs almost nothing and is completely out of the way behind the shower curtain allowing full access to toilet. If she lived lone, then it might be difficult for her to do that, but that is not the case. EVERY case is different-every tub is different. I feel this bench will fit most tubs and has sufficient adjustments to allow it to fit most.

This is a truly ingenious idea. Transfer from hoya lift to chair, seat belt person in, rotate chair, gently push them on the rail chair one leg at a time over the tub wall. Lock chair in place. Person takes a shower. Reverse process to leave tub safely. Don't need to remidel with an $8,714 floor level hospital style shower for a temporarily paralyzed person.

Well made. It’s handy for getting over the step to get in the shower. The swivel allows one to slide in and get past the door, then rotate to the shower controls. It probably could be a 5⭐️ for most but if it was 10” longer than the 44” it would be better for me. So far it’s the best

This was a life saver for my mom, she had a bench but could not physically slide. i was also scared they she would tear her skin sliding across the old bench. This bench works exactly like they describe, it is perfect and makes showering so much easier.

My mother, 85, has Stage 7 Alzheimer's. She is unable to care for herself at all. While sitting, she leans to the right and cannot keep herself from falling. We have caregivers for her 15 hours per day, 7 days per week. The morning caregiver must bathe my mother each morning. This enables the caregiver to move my mother into and out of the tub easily. The seatbelt prevents my mother from falling off. The seat is very well designed and constructed. (I'm an engineer. So, I have a reasonable idea of what design and construction should be.) It assembles, and disassembles, very easily. It is light enough to move easily, but heavy enough to be stable. On the back of the seat, there is a red button that unlocks the swivel. The chair swivels 90 degrees at a time, locking in place each quarter turn. The chair slides horizontally, left and right, along two rails. There are two red clips on one rail of the chair that unlock the horizontal. When the chair is moved to one end or the other, it locks in place with a spring-loaded metal button. The red clip on the right side of the chair (outside the tub) depresses the spring-loaded button to unlock the chair when the chair is locked on the right side of the base. The red clip on the left side of the chair (inside the tub) depresses the spring-loaded button to unlock the chair when the chair is locked on the left side of the base. There is a handle on the left side of the chair (inside the tub) for the patient to hold while being bathed.

Wish the legs when lower and higher in order to place correctly in a difficult shower. This product does work especially for full bathtubs and shower. Easy to assemble, durable

As a retired engineer and care giver to an overweight family member, I've never seen a product of this type having a better design nor sturdier construction. Don't take my word for it, watch the videos of similar products that wobble. I shop carefully, checking every feature as best as is possible online, and this chair is now happily in my possession. This swivel chair has a four point support for the turntable that operates smoothly without wobble. The frame is wider than any other, allowing the high back seat to extend into the room beyond the tub for easy patient access, which also provides excellent weight distribution. As amazingly light as it is, I expected the frame to sag while in use, particularly as I assembled it at chair height, but no stress is evident at all. Don't buy the extended warranty, I'm quite sure you'll never need it.
