Can someone provide specifics on how to get to bulb to change it

Take off the big filter on the back, and look above where it was to find two small Phillips screws. Remove those and pop off the cover. Make sure you don't touch the new bulb glass with your fingers! Hold it by the styrofoam and then remove the styrofoam once the bulb is in place.

Is there a trick to removing the metal panel? I’ve removed the screws but can’t pop it off.

It's difficult to say if "there is a trick" if the model of your air filter unit is unknown. I would suggest you look up your specific model for bulb replacement procedures. My Oransi unit required no trick to removing the metal shield.

Is there a trick to popping off the metal cover? I can’t get it off.

The UV bulb shield is held in by 2 screws which need to be removed. The metal shield will pull straight out towards you. You may need to wiggle it a bit and use some force to get it out the first time. If you need additional assistance, please contact yourfriends@guardiantechnologies.com or call 1-866-603-5900

Does this fit the oransi finn air purifier

Yes it fix greatly, the blessings is mind blowing of the price for it as well. Thinks for having the bulbs available to us.
