Good senior food.
My 13 year old senior cat likes this food. It comes in nice portions so there are no leftovers to put in the fridge.

Just right for Nibblers
The quality of the food is fine, and you don’t have to deal with messy cans! The portion size is a bit small for hefty eaters, but fine for nibblers and light weight eaters. We found it more useful to use as a treat than a meal.

Picky, sensitive stomach senior cat loved it
I forget one of my cats is technically a senior because he still acts so young. I knew I had my work cut out for me because he is very particular about his wet food- there must be lots of gravy, he doesn't like pate or evenly cut textures, it has to be shredded or chunked. He also has a sensitive stomach and dainty appetite, he never finishes even half a 3 oz can in one sitting. However, he left the plate absolutely spotless w/this food. This one hits all the marks, he loved it and had no digestive issues. The single portion is great as I swear he can tell when the food is even served just the next day. The price was quite reasonable compared to other brands. I'm also conscious of creating extra waste and like that these little cups are recyclable after rinsing clean.

Has some gravy for cats who just lick off the gravy.
My picky elderly cat does not eat soft food. She just licks off the gravy. She eats tiny kibble for elderly cats, but for soft food, she just licks it. This has some gravy to it, and she likes it. I like that it's for senior cats. I've tried foods that are just gravy, and she won't eat them.

Senior food my picky girl likes
I’ve been feeding my cats Iams for about a year or so now. One of them was on a prescription diet due to struvite crystals, but it’s so expensive and can eventually do damage to his kidneys. I found the Iams unitary tract food and he does amazingly well on it. They all get it and it’s just fine, so I decided to give them the wet, as well.I like that there’s no “meal” anything (cause that’s crap) and real chicken is the first ingredient. Since I don’t have them on a raw diet yet this is pretty good for the price. I can’t find wet food for senior cats in stores, so I was really happy to find this. The best thing is that my picky girl actually likes it! She doesn’t like wet food (IKR?!) and eats the ENTIRE portion without kibble mixed in.A total win!

Portion size is perfect for a senior cat
Kittens play and sleep. After a year or so, adult cats sleep and play. From about 5 to 10 they sleep, sleep and play., after 10 years old they sleep, sleep, eat. after 10 the basically sleep all day and night. So senior cats don't need to eat much or they get fat, can't move at all, than die. So I love this size. I give a half carton (break the two in half) for dinner, then add in another bowl some dry senior food for the cat to eat later at night or during the day, and the cat is happy (and mostly sleeps). By the way, this perfect portion containers is also available under different names (Sheba Perfect Portions) and my cat loves the "non-Iams" the same and the other brand is cheaper.

Difficult to Open
While my senior cat loved this food, it is very difficult to open for me. I have a little arthritis in my thumbs which makes it hard for me to open, and the "juice" in it gets on my hands, ugh, not to mention the smell after opening. I gave some packs away to my son to give their cats, just to use it up before I buy a different product.

Saved My 13-Year-Old Cat!
My cat is 13 and began to suffer from some issues with her teeth, causing her to be unable to chew dry food properly. She lost a lot of weight suddenly and we grew worried, so our vet recommended we tried this, which is the wet version of what we had been feeding before. After hating wet food her whole life, she swallowed this right up and loves it! Her weight is back up and her fur is still silky smooth. Be sure to read the instructions to get the proper portion sizes for the weight of your cat, and open the halves tilted back slightly so the gravy doesn’t splatter on you when peeling the foil back. Highly Recommend!
