Great Mini-ITX Computer Case
Wish I had bought this case years ago. So much more room than in the CoolMaster ITX case I had before. I love how my ATX power supply fits below the motherboard and with its fan facing down to blow hot air out. Very nice for keeping cables out of the way with all the cable storage space on the bottom. Very easy to put your computer together in this case. I have a GeForce RTX 30350 and it fit in so easily; with a lot of space to spare. Plexiglass on top to allow you to see in is very nice. I don't need or want glass and am more than content with the plexiglass. The 200 mm fan in the front (pulls air out) is super quiet. Don't believe the reviews saying otherwise. My i5-12600 with a SLIGHTLY upgraded fan/heatsink is running at 45c. This is a great case worthy of a buy, so you can see for yourself. I have built many computers in my time and I have nothing negative to say about this case. I do not have a water pump or radiator and cannot speak to that. If you have a very tall fan/heatsink, I think you'll be more than fine as there is SO much room (6" easily) above mine that I'm sure you could fit anything in here. This is a well-thought-out case.

I really like this case
I really like this case. First, it fits my need. I wanted something that would fit into an Ikea "box of open cubes" type shelf unit. The opening on each cube is 13" x 13" (H x W). The Core V1 is under 10.9" x 10.2" H x W. Fits perfectly with enough open space for ventilation. Shoved inside the cube, everything is staying at a nice 25-27 C at idle. The quality is of good quality. The metal is light but more than sturdy enough to sit on a shelf. The parts all fit well. The front panel connectors and switches all functioned as expected. The fit and finish are good, and it is an attractive case. Top, bottom and both sides come off with thumb screws. The top and sides are all interchangeable. You can put the windowed panel on top or either side. (Thermaltake sells replacement window panels for this case. I wish they sold replacement vented panels. I don't need the window.) The easy access made assembly a breeze. There is enough internal space that my 160mm non-modular PSU worked great. The excess cables tucked neatly on the side of the PSU, and I could route and tie the cables together to permit good airflow through the case. To improve air flow, I put the windowed panel on one side and installed the two ventilated panels on the top and the other side. I pushed the windowed side of the case against the cubby hole wall to encourage airflow out the ventilated top and side. I did not install the optional (not included) 2 x 80 mm fans in the rear of the case. Between the 200 mm front fan (included) and the fact that my older model PSU draws air through the case and the natural ventilation built into the case itself. I have no heat issues. Using the stock 200mm fan, the stock CPU fan and my older PSU with 2 x 80 mm fans, it is not a dead silent case. It still sounds like a computer in operation.

Compact Powerhouse for Gaming – Best Micro ATX Case I’ve Owned!
I bought this Thermaltake Core V21 about 8 years ago for my gaming setup, and it’s hands-down one of the best compact Micro ATX cases I’ve ever owned. Its small, cube-shaped design tucks neatly into the corner of my room, saving space without sacrificing performance. Despite its size, it fits my full-size GPU and CPU cooler with ease, and the 200mm front fan keeps everything cool during intense gaming sessions (think long hours of FPS and RPG games). The modular design is a dream—swappable panels let me tweak airflow for my setup, and it’s sturdy enough to handle a few bumps over the years. The only minor downside is that cable management can be tricky due to the compact interior, requiring some patience to keep things tidy. Also, it comes with just one fan, so I added an extra 120mm fan for better exhaust. For a compact case, though, it’s a beast, supporting liquid cooling if I ever upgrade. It’s perfect for gamers who want a powerful, space-saving build that doesn’t dominate the room. Highly recommend for small apartments or minimalist setups!

An easy pick with only one draw back.
This is 4.5/5 in reality, it just wouldn't be fair to place this in a 5 star category. So why the 0.5 star knock down? Simple, the internal power extension cable. The extension cable is pretty standard for this case. There's nothing wrong with the 90 degree bend for the PSU, that functions perfectly, but the direct port to the back is not great and generally gets in the way of a 280mm AIO with THICK fans. Stand fans over all (25mm) aren't affected and I suppose that was the idea, but if you want the best airflow through a radiator in a cramped space and you notice there's plenty of room, once you remove the extra riser cable slack/retention bar, to place a 30mm fan you're going to opt for thicker fans, right? Well that's what I wanted do once I replaced the riser cable with a slightly shorter one and removed the pointless retention bar. But now, the power cable with in the way. This required me bending the absolute crap out the cable to bend 180 degrees towards the case and use zip ties to force the cable to bend more naturally out of the way of everything else i the case. Overall, it looks amazing when I open it and way more natural, even with the unnatural bend, than the way it comes as a default. Unfortunately, this also meant I had to shave the rubber off the edge of the cable to get the bend in the first place and truly recess the cable as close to the rear of the cast as possible. This was a bit of a pain and it simply doesn't make any sense why the power extension isn't a 90 degree to 90 degree out at the rear. It would make the case overall easier to work in and pretty up the cable management by placing it along the bottom of the case, completely out of the way of all parts. Anyway, this was the one major flaw of an otherwise flawless case. Everything else about this case is testament to the quality I've come to expect from Thermaltakes latest cases. The removable GPU slot makes for a far easier installation of these exceedingly larger and larger GPUs. Routing and tucking your cables is made so much simpler with the removable PSU tray. The only other critique I could make was the lack of mesh on certain areas depending on your choice of air flow overall, but that was easily fixed with my own mesh and magnets. The fan capacity is fantastic and is truly a major factor on why anyone should consider getting this. Unlike the large majority of ITX case, which to be fair are going for smallest optimal space, this offers the ability to use a full 280 radiator so you won't be limited on your CPU with that capability. 9950X3D? Keep it coming. 14900K? Your golden, so long as your CPU isn't toast already. Heck, I was even able to install the highly functional/high inconvenient Corsair H115i Titan and even had enough space to hid the iLink Hub out of the way. The point is the this case has the space. Additionally, build quality is impressive. At no point did I feel it was too flimsy or would easily bend from simple disassembly or some light abuse. The Metal panels are fairly thick, but light and they're held on with heavy duty magnets. The top and bottom grates slide into place and are held down with thumb screws. everything about this case is about making maintenance extremely easy in the future. It's definitely not the smallest ITX case you can build but it will certainly be the most convenient you'll be able to find. Thermaltake has certainly stepped up there game these last few years. They started listening to criticisms and making the appropriate changes to all of there current cases. So much so, they are an instant go-to when I'm researching a build. Can't say the same care was taken with their AIOs, but I think I just have bad luck in the department. Additionally, Thermaltake is clearly having fun with the variety of color schemes they've managed to make. I simply love the fact that you could go into a store full of their cases and it would be like walking through a candy shop. TLDR: Sturdy build, easy to work in, some draw backs to the extension cable, plenty of room for cable management, fans, and cooling.

Absolutely FANTASTIC Mini ITX Case!
This Thermaltake Core V1 Mini ITX case is terrific! I was looking for a small form factor case to build an inexpensive gaming PC for my son as a Christmas present. (We got him an expensive Alienware a year ago, but even an inexpensive desktop can outperform a gaming laptop any day of the week.) The case was inCREDIBLY easy to work with. There's an ample chamber for the PSU, separate from the main area where you put the motherboard and other components. Unlike more expensive builds I've made using modular PSU's, i used an inexpensive (but good) PSU that required tucking the extra wires away for neatness. This was no problem with the sheer amount of extra room in the lower chamber. The twin 3.5" drive brackets were easy to remove and served as a pretty convenient guide (along with strategic holes) to tie down some of the LED and fan wires. There were plenty of screws provided to attach all of the components I placed in the system. The beauty of the system, aside from the massive amounts of room remarkable for such a small case, is that each of the three removable side panels can be placed in any position. This allows you to place the large glass viewing window on any side you wish. For people who like to make fancy rigs with internal LEDs, that's a bonus. The system is also amazing at cooling. Great airflow and a massive, virtually silent fan complete the package. Seriously, if you're looking for a small-form-factor case this makes an outstanding alternative to the Bitfenix which tends to lead this category but which, I found, fluctuates wildly in price. This, by far, is the easiest system build I've done to date. MY CONFIG: • Intel Core i5-4690 3.9Ghz ($220) • Gigabyte Intel H81 Motherboard GA-H81N ($75) • SanDisk Ultra II 240GB SATA III ($109) • EVGA GeForce GTX 750Ti Superclock ($139) • Corsair Vengeance 8GB RAM ($77) • Corsair Builder Series CX 500 Watt ATX/EPS 80 PLUS (CX500) ($55) • AmazonBasics Wired Keyboard ($10) • OS: Windows 7, but had a prior unused copy ($0) Total Cost: About $675. My son mostly plays games like World of Warcraft (still!) and this gets 60+FPS on Ultra settings. (That GTX 750ti, powered only by the PCI socket, is a wonder to behold!)

Superb case, quality, fit, finish, and construction --BIG BANG for the bucks!
SECOND PURCHASE UPDATE: The ASUS ROG Maximus XII Hero Z490 is too big by a couple inches. It wont fit... so disappointed, because I love these cases. The moment I saw the Thermaltake Core V21 SPCC Micro ATX Cube Computer Chassis I knew I liked it and I HOPED I would love it. I LOVE IT. I've built PCs since early DOS on 8088s, XTs, 286, 386, 486, Pentiums, etc... THIS Thermaltake Core V21 is my favorite case EVER. And my other current PC is an OriginPC (which I LOVE). I'm a die hard ASUS motherboard fanatic. They're incomparable. I bought an ASUS ROG Strix Z490-G Gaming (WiFi 6) Z490 LGA 1200 (Intel 10th Gen) SFF Micro ATX Gaming Motherboard and it fits in this Thermaltake Core V21like they were designed on the same machine and built next to each other in the same factory. EVERYTHING FITS PERFECTLY: Screws, I/O panel, everything. After decades of building PCs I fully expected to be disappointed with the fit of the MB on the risers/offsets (lining up with mounting holes for screws), and I really was expecting the I/O panel in the back would not line up and would be the wrong size by a mm here and an mm there. Wrong. They fit like they were made for each other. Bravo ASUS and bravo Thermaltake. In my situation, I have my PCs on open wire shelves in a ventilated closet. I set this Thermaltake Core V21 with the MB vertical for better heat release because I'm mounting so many HDDs in the small compartment. I didn't want all the HDDs and the PSU power supply to be under the MB (heat rises). I set up the adjustable fan holder racks to be one on top, above the large compartment, and one on the side facing out. I have several feet of clearance above so the top fans will work great and the side fans will pull heat away from the wall behind the case ventilating to the open space in front of the shelf it is on. It was easy to realign the MB vertical after I RTFM and found the tiny screw holding on the front power switch I/O unit. THREE Complaints: 1. The Thermaltake video states that the case panels are available for sale individually. As I write this I can't find them on Amazon or on their own website! I want to buy a ventilated panel because I won't be using the "glass" panel. 2. There needs to be more optional HDD mounts. I'm buying several different bolt on HDD mounts to see which will fit inside after I have the huge video card and other things in the case. There are three decent/good (cheapy plastic--should be aluminum) HDD slider trays and a three HDD cage. I wish there was one more of these. I have six huge HDDs which are set up in RAID to be three HDDs. 3. Oh those wonderful fan mounting bars that can be relocated as needed... they're VERY thoughtful and useful. But WATCH OUT I have cut my fingertips SO MANY TIMES on the little retainer thingies that hold them on (see pic). I highly recommend using small needle nose pliers to open and close the retainer fingertip slicers. After all the above, I wish I needed to build another PC because I would do it right now just to build it with this case. They're amazing.

Great case
This is a great case, there is lots of room inside for multiple different uses and is semi modular with good quality steel. It can use an ATX power supply or can use an SFX with an adapter. There is a 3.5" hard drive cage that fits 3 drives or 2.5" with no adapter needed, there are also 4 2.5" hard drive mounts on the opposite of the case (could have up to either 4 2.5" drives with 3 3.5" or 7 2.5" or any combination) This case can ONLY use either M-ATX or ITX motherboards NOT ATX This case can also be stacked if you need the additional room (for a NAS+ Streaming PC or a couples PC sharing a case) The instructions are quite extensive for basically any install scenario PLEASE NOTE: If you want to stack the cases there are a few ways to do this, as the plastic front cover will rotate 90 degrees in either direction the front IO is also removable and rotates with the plastic front, if you desired it is also possible to turn on both computers with one switch with separate cables or both computers could be operated individually by rotating the front IO 90 degrees (180 degrees from each other) TLDR: High quality case and you are only limited by 2 things.. the motherboard (M-ATX,ITX) and your imagination

Awesome mini-itx cube case! Very impressive for the price.
I am truly impressed by this little case. My wife's desktop computer was getting a bit long in the tooth and I had an i5 8600k lying around. We were wanting to create a build with a small footprint, so I decided to look into doing a mini-itx build. I was able to find a new 1151 socket mini-itx motherboard from ASRock for $99, so I started looking at the mini-itx cases out there. I wanted a case that could fit a full size atx power supply, a full size 2 slot video card, and could accommodate a decent sized cpu cooler. This case fit all of the requirements and was just $60. It would not fit a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo, so I started looking for another option. I came across a YouTube video where this guy was recommending a Zalman copper fin cooler with a 95mm fan that fit perfectly in this case (for Intel) and it was only $30. Man oh man, this case is pretty awesome. It is such a cool design, it compartmentalizes the components really well. The ATX power supply mounts on the bottom facing down and the case has an easily removable filter over the hole. The motherboard tray sits horizontally on top of the power supply and the video card (max 2 slot) sits along the nicely ventilated side panel. The other side of the case has two full size hard drive mounts, which this side is also ventilated. The top of the case has an acrylic window and the front of the case has an included 200mm case fan. The design of this case provides ample cable management space, I was blown away with how much space there actually was. Pros: Price for mini-itx case Fits full size ATX power supply Fits a full size 2 slot video card Fits 2 3.5" or 2.5" Hard Drives Has included 200mm front case fan (3pin) Very good ventilation Lots of room for cable management Can fit a 120mm or 140mm radiator in the front (Have to remove 200mm fan) Top, both side, and bottom panel are all removable and have thumb screws Front panel has some type of foam filter in place Cons: Top window is acrylic and not tempered glass Included 200mm front case fan is 3pin and is slightly noisy (being picky) Build quality is decent, but a bit flimsy (price fits this though)
