Try it You'll really appreciate it! It's better than my Smart TV, I miss it!
It's great!! When I took it out of the box I forgot it was refurbished, it looks brand new. Even has the plastic wrapped over the remote and stick came in a bag that looks like it came factory. If I could hook it up anybody can it was easier for me too just hook everything up, the instructions baffled me more than the stick did. But they made more sense as I was going along with the the set up. Once you get a hang of the buttons it gets easier I tried too hook up the WIFI with my router and didn't succeed, it was easy with the modem. I was worried for a few days cause I read more on the reviews and one person said it wouldn't work on any LG TVS and I have an older flat screen the guy who I bought it from said it was refurbished and the last to have front speakers, which I think they sound better than rear speakers. This fire tv stick 4K comes in handy having a remote because mine stopped working a while ago and now I don't have to reach blindly of the side of the TV trying to turn the volume down and up. At first I was hitting the menu buttons having it surech for channels to didn't have. I've been using my 32 " TV as my computers monitor so after I bought the fire TV stick 4K I wonder why I did because I can watch everything from my computer but now I don't have to wait for it to boot up and open a bunch of tabs or windows. I've had Amazon prime and premium YouTube for a long time now and now it's easier having everything all together. And I was kinda weary of using Alexa because my experience with her on my Android and computer hasn't been that pleasing but she works great with the stick. Well it took me more time for this review than it did setting up my fire tv stick, but I've got too Thank Amazon for their store card because I wouldn't get too enjoy these type of things without them, I am waiting on a 10TB Seagate External Drive / hub now, I bought a new Segate 2TB EX. Drive not to long ago thinking it would take me a long time to feel it it up, but when you have 3 computers and a Laptop it didn't take long. The next thing I'm going to get from Amazon is a Victsing game Keyboard to go with the Victsing game Mouse I really like, I'm going to check out if Victsing sells DTS Head Phones, I just bought an App that's made for DTS and it makes my regular set sound good so I can't wait to try a set made what that App is made for, real surround sound and 3D. I miss the fire stick 4K its better than my Smart TV. SAVE your money.

THE UPGRADE IS WORTH EVERY PENNY! FLAWLESS REFURBISHED 4K FIRESTICK!
My purchase came with everything a brand new firestick 4k would come with minus the original box. The box it came in was packed very well with each individual item in its original packaging. Item seem brand new in aftermarket box! I own a second generation firestick and have been happy with it. I debated if the upgrade would be worth it, and to my surprise this new 4k firestick makes me want to river dance on my 2nd gen firestick then light it on fire. There is no lag/stutter at all when scrolling through menus. Set up is a breeze. Loaded Kodi up and began to test and compare all of the same things that I was using on my 2nd gen firestick. Media and content load so much faster without buffering and stuttering video like my old stick. On my old firestick some streams were unwatchable and constantly buffered and paused randomly throughout playback. I have yet to have that happen with this 4k stick, even on content that my old firestick would struggle with. 4k playback is flawless with no hiccups. All in all, I am very happy with my purchase. I wouldn't dream of going back to my old firestick. I am also using a ethernet adapter with the 4k firestick(used same one with 2nd gen). Everything works better, and this device does not seem to have heat issues that the 2nd gen stick had. If you have the 2nd gen stick and on the fence about upgrading. Do it! And if you want to save a few bucks like I did get a refurb one.

All I need to make my TV as smart as the newest models
This is my third Firestick. The first one, purchased back in 2014, died after four months and was replaced under warranty. That replacement is still working fine, although it’s a bit slower than the newer ones and doesn’t support the resolution of my main TV. I purchased a newer model in 2016, and that one lasted until just a couple of days ago. This one is a definite improvement over the 2016 model, with not only higher resolution, but also the ability to turn the TV off and on, and the ability to control the volume, which means I don’t have to juggle two remotes. It came is a simple brown box, without the fancy packaging of the new units, but it looked like new, and I think the power adapter and cord were in fact new. It does everything I need, and cost far less than an Apple TV box or the top FireTV model.
