How do you clean it properly? Mine is a bit pinkish, but I'm afraid to use soap or any cleaners that might harm my fish.

is the pink just algae stuck on? You can use a mild bleach/very hot water solution to clean plastic plants. Soak the plants for not longer than a couple minutes, but make sure you don't soak the base in the hot water. Keep checking the plants and swirl them around in the water a bit as they soak. Rinse the plants a long time in cold water until they don't smell bleach anymore. Double-check that they don't smell anymore before putting them back into the tank. There are several YouTube videos on how to clean plastic aquarium plants.

are these soft not to hurt tails?

Hello! The biOrb Sea Lily is made of plastic. We recommend using silk plants from the biOrb collection if you have fish species with longer flowing fins and tails. We hope this helps!

Are these supposed to smell strongly of gasoline? the one i received i think was used because the other biorb decorations don’t smell so toxic!
