At 4yrs old my granddaughter couldn't read. 2x a day I had my granddaughter and would read this book. In 2wks she knew it by hard. I took her to school ask the teacher to let her read. She never would work with my granddaughter in reading, after granddaughter read this book the teacher worked with my granddaughter at age 6 she was at level 7. I owe out in the weather the credit in teaching a child to start to read. Please try this book with your young child as a starter book. 6 grade she was at level 24.

The perfect first book for early and very young readers. My kids will probably remember it all their lives, and pass it to their children.

This book is designed to teach emergent readers the basics of reading. Fantastic tool for teaching first time readers to love books and develop a fondness for reading.

I have never been moved to write a negative review of anything from Amazon, but this little book was the most awful disappointment. My small grandchildren are all excellent skiers and I thought it was going to be an interesting little story for them, instead it is a book for small children learning to read and even then it is rubbish. A complete waste of money.
