Instructions are straight forward. I used a spray bottle with dish soap and water. Make sure you have a rubber squeegee. I used a ruler and box cutter to make the final trims when the film was on the windows. Just go slow, and you'll be fine! It's been roughly 2 months and has worked great. It really helped reduce heat and light coming in to the house during the afternoon when the sun points directly at the house.

I purchased this exact item two years ago (in 2020), and it worked like a dream. I can see right through it from inside (window just looks slightly tinted from inside), and when I am outside there is a complete mirror effect, and I cannot see into the room. Decided to buy more of this SAME product two years later for additional windows, and all I get is a tinted window. I can see right through the film from the exterior. Not sure what they changed about this film, but it no longer matches the description. Bring the old version back, please!

I bought this film to enhance our viewing experience with our window-mounted bird feeders. As you can see we get that. I took the first picture just after cleaning the window and bird feeders, everyone had fled. The second was after our feathered friends returned.The film itself is more durable than I had anticipated. It is also more pliable and easily handled than I expected. You will not have to worry about one error rendering the project a bust.Application was not difficult. The instructions were in clear English. It took about 1 1/2 hours to measure, cut and apply. It may be less for you, especially if you do not have ADHD. We addies process and reprocess everything, so we take longer on first-time tasks than most NTs (neuro-typicals).It adheres easily, and the birds no longer flee when we come near the window. The non-adhesive feature makes installation easier.The reason I gave it only three stars is the optical quality. To the naked eye everything is slightly blurry. As a photographer, this is noticeable and a problem. Obviously, I like to capture moments at my window, and for a photographer, blurriness is a non-starter.I would recommend this product to anyone for whom or applications where photo-clarity is not an issue. Other than this, it is a very good product.

Beginning of the roll had a gouge in it as mentioned in some of the one star reviews. Installation instructions aren't clear. It mentions an "installation tool", which wasn't enclosed. It's impossible to get all the bubbles out so don't use this on a window you plan on looking out of. I installed this in my garage so I'm going to leave it, and will return to this review if it has adhesion problems after awhile. I've used Artscape brand window film in the past, which was much easier to install, but I don't know if they make a mirror film. It's now a week later, and I was able to get most of the bubbles out, film is adhering well so far so I gave one additional star. It's now about 2 weeks later, and all the bubbles went away. The window looks good so I'm glad to give another star. I would give 5 stars except that the instructions are pretty hard to understand. Other than that and some initial anxiety about the first results, over time this has proven to be a good product.

I bought this for my guest bathroom. That's where we keep the dog at night and he was messing with the curtains so we removed them. This is a great alternative. It gives us privacy without preventing us from looking outside. It was super easy to install and looks nice.

Poor quality wavy film. Find another.

I placed on our front door, that has a beautiful gold inlaid design in the glass. I hated that people could see in day or night. After using this product, privacy was achieved no could see in, yet we could see who was on our porch. The slight mirror effect actually made our design in the glass more noticeable and god more beautiful...wish I could show a picture but don't know how to do it.

Nice window film. Two people make the installation go alot faster. We did about two windows each weekend until we did all the windows in the house. This has cut the sun glare down alot. Highly recommend this product if your windows face the sun for most of the day. nice！
