Pediatric Secrets

This book had an excellent amount of depth when considering multiple topics. There was much more information than other review books, and the format of presentation is light as a Q&A format. Although each section appears to randomly skip, it seems to be pretty comprehensive. I have not yet taken the board exam, so I can't say how well it prepared me.

A nice quick reference for common Peds issues. As a Peds resident, I find it very useful and plan to use it for board review.

Really enjoyed this book.... would pick it up intermittently when I had a free moment and always learned something!

Yes, this book has some great content. 2 stars because I hate the organization of the chapters. I feel like it jumps around too much within a given topic. I would not recommend this book for a pediatrics core rotation or for STEP prep. Pass on this and find a better text.

Great book! I recommend it. It is definitely full of information. I will probably read it twice because of all of the information provided.
