Park Seed Tivoli Hybrid Spaghetti Squash Seeds, Pack of 20 Seeds

I've always had issues with powdery mildew in the garden but this variety is PM resistant and is going strong well into August. Other zucchini varieties I've planted have started out strong but succumbed to powdery mildew by mid-summer.

95% germination and big healthy plants. They did take up a bit more space than I predicted. The yield was less than I expected but I did get powdery mildew but the plant heals out till I could harvest. Will by in the future

The seed had about a 70 percent germination. The plants are lush and vigorous. However, the seed is not true to the variety. I raised this variety commercially a few years ago. The seed that I purchased then produced squash that resembled the squash in the advertisement photograph. Yellow with a green spot on the bloom end. These seeds are producing squash that have lots of green color on them, or solid green in color. And NO, there are no other squash plants in the area (within a mile). and NO, these plants are not infected with mosaic virus. They are not true to the variety. This is not the sellers fault. It is the fault of the seed producer that allowed cross pollination to take place. In a commercial setting, these squash would not be marketable.

I don't have a large garden space. After my tomatoes, peppers eggplant squash cukes , beets etc I don't have alot of space left. I got these seeds last year for a trial and planted them. Unlike regular butternuts hey stayed pretty compact and produced somewhat smaller but a lot of fruit. Very happy to have them in my garden.
