MI7236-E 72 x 36 Wall Storage Unit, Espresso Finish

The box was heavier than I expected, so it was difficult to get inside by myself (a few steps to go up). There were a couple labels listed in the instructions (this side up) that were missing on my product; a lot of looking and semi- educated guess had me put the dividers on correctly. I didn't have too much trouble putting it together solo, but I STRONGLY recommend power tools, as it would otherwise have taken ages. Great shelf, and I'm very happy with it!

As advertised it’s sturdy and well made

The assembly went together easily in a couple hours by myself. It's a heavy, handsome bookcase in my great-room, but would work anywhere. I used hammer-fist instead of the recommended rubber mallet, to close any gaps. There's a system of wooden dowels, locking metal pins and screws that make for a sturdy support. The directions are understandable but need careful reading. I used a phillips screwdriver and my fists. Pray for your delivery people. 100+lbs.

finished product looks good and holds a fair amount of books. sturdy. One shelf came with divot/flaw on front facing part of the shelf, so very noticeable. Ended up filling it in with wood marker. Bottom shelf is faded/different stain color on one end. Got too far into assembly (which took 90 minutes) to bother packing up and returning it. Used a drill - screwdriver would have taken forever. Back part of the shelf is basically cheap particle board taped together that wasn't taped together evenly. Hate when back material isn't same quality as the rest of the unit.

Very nice for the price. Easy assembly. It's the perfect size for my application and saves me the hassle of building one. Be aware that the package as delivered is HEAVY.The look is very nice. It's oak veneer over particle board but still pretty sturdy.Mine arrived damaged. The bottom apron was cracked in half. I have contacted the seller and will upgrade to a 4 or 5 star depending on the service I get on my request for a replacement part.

My husband and I LOVE this bookcase. We have a small house and needed a TV stand that could double as a bookcase to save space. We also needed something safe because we have a 3 and a 1 year old. This thing is mounted to studs in the wall and is super secure. Even if both kids were to climb and pull on it, it wouldn’t budge. We are still adding books to it that we’ve had to store in boxes, so we are really thrilled with how much shelf space there is. The color was much lighter than expected, but I do not mind. The only thing to note is that the tuner box for our sound system (idk what size it is, but it is pretty much the same as most tuners) did not fit in the middle section top shelf. My husband had to do some alterations, but it works great now. We love it!

Solid shelf of higher quality than most particle board shelves on the market. Perfect size for my space. Easy to assemble. Redder in color than the picture. The staining was inconsistent. The faces of the shelves overhang, making it harder to pull larger books out. The pieces do not fit as snug as they should. Note that it is very heavy.

We're re-doing a room in our house and were looking for a short bookcase to put against a short wall in the room. We thought of building it ourselves, but then came across this piece on Amazon. The quality of the wood is fantastic for the price, it was easy to put together and solid once put together. Everything we were looking for and we didn't need to do the labor ourselves. Perfect fit and price. If you're looking for a short, wide bookcase and this is in your price range, we highly recommend this one!
