Mishimoto MMRAD-S2K-00X Performance Aluminum X-Line Radiator Compatible With Honda S2000 2000-2009

Good radiator overall. I installed this for the s2000 as the oem radiator cracked. Install was pretty easy except for removal and installing the lower hose.As for the quality, I think for $350 the fitment should be better as the screw holes does not match exactly. The drain plug feels very cheap too and can strip threads if over tighten. Make sure to use Teflon tape. The radiator is a lot thicker than oem and can store double the coolant. This will help a lot with cooling. I had drove the s2000 in stop and go traffic in triple digits heat and my s2000 had no issues so far!I have been running this radiator with mishimoto fan shroud and it is a good combo, just wanted the fans to blow air much more. But that is a separate review.I don’t have much issue from what other reviewers have experienced. Only thing I advise is to be careful and use Teflon tape on the drain plug. Beside that, good radiator but not great.

The radiator is a thing of beauty. Lightweight, well packaged. Comes with everything you need and is a drop in replacement. The radiator cap however was originally very loose. With the cap installed, it was still very wobbly. I started the engine and coolant leaked out. I had to push the locking tabs in ever so slight to create a tighter fit. Now the wobble is gone but I can still smell coolant.Going to try and see if Mishimoto will issue me a new radiator cap to replace this clearly defective one. Giving this one 3 stars until otherwise.UPDATE:Contacted Mishimoto and had to submit pictures of the faulty radiator cap. They are shipping me a replacement now. Great customer service. Updating from 3 stars to 5 for how quickly the process took. Great work guys!

It fits perfectly. The only problem was the drain plug. It is aluminum which is good but it is hollow and very thin. How flimsy is it? I think I could twist it off with my hands. I did twist it off with a wrench and all most no effort. We contacted the manufacturer and they said they would replace it but all they could do is send me another one just like it. If we ever pay some one to change antifreeze they will brake the plug guaranteed.

Slight modification when screwing fan to radiator. Holes and welded rods for mounting the fan don't match properly. Going to need to bend the rod

had to change Rad cap 3 times but never stopped leaking til i found a Spoon Rad capwasted my time n money n coolant never buy it again.i took it out n modded for something else.BTW i had to hammer those tabs for many times to make it straight.also if u have oem s2k intake it will get in the way.

No problems here direct install right out of the box.

The radiator provides outstanding quality and is quite beautiful. It is a perfect fit for my S2000, and I was able to mount the fans without modification. The radiator also improves the overall cooling.
