Mother Goose

Beautifully illustrated book. I love to share the old nursery rhythms with my children — there is such a lovely and nostalgic cadence to them. The book is longer than most kids want to read in one sitting, so we just read 8 or so pages at a time.

We borrowed this from the library, and HAD to get our own copy. My children wanted to be read most of it in one sitting!! The pictures are beautiful and detailed, so there's a lot to explain the classic Mother Goose rhymes and stories that may go over the heads of the young ones.It is small in size, so it fits nicely on a shelf and is easy for the littlest hands to handle. Accessible. That's one of the biggest perks for me.Can't recommend this enough!

Such a cute book. I have a 1.5-year-old daughter and she loves flipping through all of the pages. I like that all of the stories are the same ones that my mom used to read to me when I was a child.

It was much smaller than I realized, therefore, Tasha Tudor's lovely illustrations have far less impact. I wish I had ordered a larger book.

Tasha Tudor did such sweet illustrations to the classic Mother Goose rhymes that any home without this book has missed a sure bet.

This is an old family favorite with delightful illustrations by Tasha Tudor. A classic!
