A Man's Greatest Challenge (Live Different)

So thankful my pastor recommended this book. It is biblical and really has helped me develop necessary self control to honor the Lord with my life.

This is a great look at a man's battle with self-control, and steps we can take to build a solid foundation to regain control over those parts of our life that bring us guilt, shame, and lack of intimacy. Short, pithy, and too the point, I suggest working through this book with a close friend or a "band of brothers," where you'll watch it change the way you look at yourself and Jesus' never-failing love for you.

There really aren't a ton of books on self-control so I'm very very happy to have found this book. I was gripped with the reality that the people in my life need for me to have self-control or our lives will be destroyed like a city without walls. Take up and read, best if done with a group of guys.

This is definitely a good read, I would recommend as a good start to a journey to maintain better self control

Great book, clear message and instruction. But Dai, Helm's Deep didn't fall. You can't mess with Tolkien to get your point across.

Disappointed that I bought yet another book that essentially tells me to read my Bible. No useful applications. It just tells you to bathe yourself in the Word. Do it yourself and save the money.

Outstanding read for Christian men. Starts off a getting to the heart of our struggles with self-control and our daily need for Jesus before moving on to very helpful practical suggestions and thoughts on battling these struggles.

Much needed counsel for young men! (well...men in general! why aren't there more books like this!?)

Went through this with some of the young men in the church and we all found it very helpful. It really helps with theory and practical advice for how to build self control.
