What i feared cane true, I have a 2013 civic and this key fob places the chip too far from the ignition and won't let the car start. Disappointed that I spent money to get the key copied just for it not to work. Money bad spent

Only complaint for this is the buttons it comes with isn’t compatible with a 2008 key. I had to use the buttons from my old key. Other than that this is an amazing alternative to getting a replacement key. Dealership would charge about $200 and all I did was take the key to an Ace Hardware and got it cut to match my key for $5.

More than adequate. Had spare parts I used to repair my old one that lasted about 6 years. People complaining about the transponder. There is a small chip you probably threw away on accident in your old key. I put the chip inside the little enclosure near the front of the new key and it works perfectly.

Spring and button module are now separated. Makes it easier to change the battery.But the module is just too far away from the key entrance so the Pilot will not start sometimes.

Similar to other reviews, I can confirm that this key fob wont fully start your car. I took the entire chip and motherboard over from the original to this key fob. Then had the original copied over.Even though the copy will engage the starter, the car will not completely roll to start. I’ve swapped the original with this 3rd party flip key fob back and forth and without fail only the original key starts the car. Sounds like I’m experiencing what others are complaining about. Bummed ☹️

I’m not sure what to give it yet, it doesn’t come with battery, so I have to wait cause I had to order battery separately

Very impressed with this aftermarket key fob I took my old key and chip from my broken fob with a little bit of cutting I was able to install my old key
