History of Scotland for Children Paperback – Import, January 1, 2004

We saw this in a bookstore in Scotland when we were on vacation and I forgot to buy it, so I was beyond pleased to find it on Amazon. It's written and illustrated in a great way for elementary school children and if you have a little one in your life that likes history, this is a great learning tool! We bought it for my nephew to show him the history of Scotland and he was so excited to learn that castles and knights were real things. I would absolutely recommend this and am planning on purchasing another so that when my son is older he can learn all about Scotland too!

We love this book! I bought it for my 10 year old son who is really into all things Scotland at the moment and this was a great book. My whole family read it--my husband and I are all of our kids. It gives a good overview of Scotland's long history.

REALLY interesting book that provides an in depth look at Scotland from ancient times until now. Very useful for understanding how some unique things about Scotland and Scottish culture came to be. Bought it for the kids... reading it myself!

It's an elementary school textbook, but it's a great place to start if you know nothing about Scotland's history, and want to learn.

This book was bought as a gift for the grandchildren and so I have nor read it. From a quick glance, it gave Scotland's history from a point of view of easy reading for children.

Well presented simplified history.

This is a nice book which depicts the history of Scotland from ancient to modern times. It has nice colourful pictures on every page, with brief information about the topic in question. It's interesting to read for both children as well as adults.

Really easy to read nice pictures very engaging once you pick up it's hard to put down wonderful and fascinating of the history and culture of Scotland
