Bbonlinedress Women's 1950s Audrey Summer Vintage Rockabilly Swing Dress

I bought this in a 2X for a Minnie Mouse costume, but I can wear it anytime. It's the slightest bit snug, but doesn't look bad because of it. I am 5'5 and around 245 lbs, but my weight is distributed pretty well for a dress like this. I'm also a 40 DDD, and it honestly fits the breast area pretty well. I like the ribbon to add to the waist. I wish there was a bit of netting inside to make the bottom flare more to hide hip bulges. I normally wear XL in women's clothing, but I know things online usually run small. I am able to get the dress on without unzipping it. It's not uncomfortable. I'm just using tights and spandex to hold the little bulges in better.

i thought i would leave some fit feedback for others. i'm between a 16w-18w dress. 215 lb. 38GG bust. This is a little pointy in the pleats in the bust but not enough for me to not wear it. blue dots were a little darker than anticipated, but still cute. this is not a light teal. cotton type fabric, lined up top, not a lot of give. i bought in a 3xl

This dress is super pretty. I bought it in the blue with small polka dots and also the pink with large black polka dots. It’s best if you’re busty and you should iron it, it is the type of material that can get wrinkled. It looks nice with and without a petticoat, but imo I think it’s better with one. Looks super proper. I’m the heaviest I’ve ever been right now due to some temporary medical issues and a small fits perfectly, maybe even a little too big. I think they should carry an extra small because when the weight comes off it might be too big, which is why I give it 4 stars. Makes your waist look really small if you are curvy. Also the belt in the amazon photo doesn’t come with it, you get a thinner cheap pleather one, which is fine because of the price. Super flattering dress overall.

Love this dress had to get it in a size up but amazing look and fit

I love this dress! I normally wear small or medium (5'2" 128 pounds} I ordered L and it is just right, I like it not too snug. I am wearing it with a wider elastic belt than the one supplied because I have a nice waist. The entire top is fully lined. The dress is very well made and covers my knees which I like. It has a very ladylike look to it. I don't need a petticoat, it falls perfectly beautiful and will be perfect in summer. It looks excellent with navy or black accessories and cardigans.I can't wait to wear it! I got a whole bunch of these dresses and will make a photo session and update my reviews.

I'm 5'9", 165 pounds, 34DD, got this dress in a large, and IT FITS PERFECTLY. I'm actually amazed. I was expecting to have to send it back but it looks completely fantastic and I'm buying at least one more just in case this one gets a stain or something just because it's sooooo gorgeous.

I wear a medium in everything. I had to send it back and get a size up. It was to tight in the upper chest area and underneath the arms. The dress is BEAUTIFUL OTHERWISE. Every where else fit perfectly. I'm 5'3 126lb with a larger bust of a 38 D.

Bought this to wear to a wedding. I read the reviews and decided to size up. Unfortunately that didn't help. The dress is way too small in the bust and arms, and way too big everywhere else. There's a lot of extra fabric around the neck area, and in the back, and It's a bit too long. It doesn't have any natural shape, I did get a petticoat to go under it which helped, but if you have curves and breasts this isn't the dress for you. I have to send it back, and I already had the biggest size :(

El vestido es precioso, la tela es un poco elástica y si das con la talla adecuada sienta como un guante. Yo pedí la talla S y aunque suelo llevar S/M, me vino genial. Recomiendo el can can, por que lo más chulo del vestido es el vuelo de la falda.

The colours were pretty much what I expected from the picture, and the size is very good. A snug fit, but not too tight. I was on the edge between small and medium (for the waist measurement) and decided to go for medium and it's perfect. Some points to note if you're considering buying this. It doesn't come with an underskirt so the skirt won't be as poofy as in the picture (you can buy underskirts separately, which I'm going to do, so it's not an issue, but worth noting if you want it to look like the picture). It came a bit wrinkled (which is to be expected since it was packed very small) so you'll probably need to iron it before use. Finally, I also found that the belt didn't have enough holes so will need to get some more holes punched (so keep this in mind if your event is coming up soon and you want to wear the belt). Otherwise, great dress, I'm really looking forward to wearing it at the 50s inspired event I'm going to.

This dress is beautifully made - including a lined bodice and invisible zip, with lovely quality material which has a slight sheen. It is very comfortable to wear and arrived quickly on a next day delivery. I added a black Grace Karin Womens 50's petticoat with it which complements it well.Very pleased - got lots of nice comments when I wore it and have recommended it to everyone who asked!I took the advice of previous buyers re the sizing - I went for XL which is a very generous 14 and may even fit a size 16, as there is a bit of "give" in the fabric. Highly recommended!

I love this dress, the colours are gorgeous and the fit is as expected. I’m a size 8 with 33d say chest and 26.5 approx. waist and it fits great though I’d struggle if I were any bigger at top, just go by the measurements they provide and you’ll be fine. I’ve added a couple of pics with underskirt underneath and my own cinch belt that I wear with my 50s dresses, but it comes with satin sash and pu belt, which is great. Highly recommend.
