In fact, using cc2540 usb-dongle for ble data debugging is not complicated. What we need to understand is that the broadcast of ble can specify the broadcast channel. The broadcast channels are 37, 38, and 39 respectively. However, in the official protocol stack of TI, the three channels are broadcast together by default in the broadcast phase, but Once connected to the host, it only transmits data on one of the channels, so we have to specify one of the channels. The awkward thing is that the channel on this connection is also random. We can grab the connection packet. , fill in the address and channel of the initiator (that is, the host).

Does not work out of the box with the TI Sniffer software. I then downloaded the firmware shown in the seller’s text and tried to flash the image onto the device but the device was not recognised by the flash programmer. It is possible that mine is dead. The build quality is poor. All in all a waste of time. I have just found that Farnell stock the real device and have ordered it from them.
