It fit perfectly inside and everything lined up as it should have. No complaints there. Upon use of my new case, I noticed that some things were a little annoying. The case itself has a VERY useful carrying strap with adjustments to fit across your body and over your shoulder, making it very easy to carry around. Only issue with that is the stylus holder. It's upside, like literally. When you hold the carrying strap, my stylus pen falls out. It would be perfect if the strap was mounted on the top side of the case. Also, the handstrap in the back, although VERY useful when holding it one-handed, it does not allow the Surface tablet to lay flat on anything. It sits kind of crooked which make it impossible to type. I wish there was an option to possibly removed the handstrap connection to let the Surface lay flat. Or at least center it a little bit better. I emcee our Turkey Day 5K race every year and have struggled with announcement notes on a clipboard. I used this shockproof case and my Surface instead of a clipboard. it worked GREAT! The integrated swivel hand strap held the Surface securely yet allowed me to adjust the Surface to exactly the right angle. I could not only read my announcement scripts, but control my digital mixer at the same time.
