Pioneer 3D NAND Internal SSD 256GB - 2.5" / SATA 3/6 GB/s Solid State Drive (APS-SL3N-256)

Bought this product on the basis of value for money and having read some of the reviews already posted.I would point out that some of the 'knockers' in my view, clearly do not have the insight or technical ability to install such a device, and following this by negative comments.From my viewpoint; I received the SSD, and installed it the same day. I transferred my former hdd to the new drive, using the Acronis Live CD. Acronis is a excellent method of achieving this, although it did take 6-8 hours to complete the process. The drive is running very well on my oldish Dell n7010 laptop, has increased boot times significantly and lessened the time the cooling fan runs, even in this hot weather we've been having recently.I would reflect that the instructions that accompanied the drive are not that clear, however English is present, just not the detail that some less experienced people may need.Overall, having run the drive for a month, I am very impressed and would recommend it; with a cautious recognition that it is only a month. Wise to keep old drive as a fail safe in the initial period.

I bought this SSD a couple weeks ago for my new gaming PC build due to the fact that it was generally cheaper than other SSDs and since its a pioneer product I could trust it, and that I do, despite the fact it is indeed plastic and may feel a little cheap, don't be fooled by its appearance or negative reviews which only consist of 4% of the total reviews and a total of 87% being 5 stars, so don't be afraid to buy it!it makes loading times blazingly fast, fits spaciously into my MSI Forge 100M case and I've so far had no issues at all.

Easy to install, no issues. Good value for money, gets the job done. Amazing storage capacity , makes no noise and improves the speed and quality of my games.

Bought this to use as an extra drive primarily to store photos. Ordered late one evening and arrived early the next day. Product quick and easy to install, also has fuss free packaging. After much searching this was easily the best 1tb ssd in it's price range. Good build quality and really can't fault the price. Very happy with this, would definitely recommend

Early days but so far I'm very pleased with this device.I had a hybrid drive previously which gave a quick boot to the desktop but then I had to wait before any applications would start. I use my laptop mainly with Adobe Lightroom and this took minutes to load. Now it loads in seconds and is far more responsive.Taking the laptop apart is a bit nerve wracking the first time you do it but there are videos on YouTube to help. With the laptop apart replacing the drive is fiddly but not difficult.I cloned the original drive using software downloaded from the Seagate website because this is where my search for pioneer ssd took me. It was very slow but there were no issues. My original drive was Seagate so maybe I was just lucky. It wouldn't boot up at first a bit of investigation and I found the bios had reconfigured to attempt recovery first. Moving the ssd to the top of the boot list cured the problem.

I installed the SSD, put Win10 on it and the SSD hasn't given me any problems. What else can I ask for?

OK, so I've used cheap SSD's in the past and some of them seem great but after 6 months many fail. DREVO to mention one brand. The warrantee is useless, I've used Samsung, they're great never had one fail. but at a price. so far I've used about 10 of these pioneer drives. none failed yet, the price is creeping up though. Watch this space.

Great for the money.Good transfer speeds for SATA; sustaining over 400MB/s read. Windows booting in around 20s rather than over a minute with a mechanical drive. I am getting write speeds of 200-300MB/s also.The black casing is tidy and looks great alongside my Sabertooth motherboard. Having read a few reviews before buying, some had concerns about heat being an issue as the case isn’t metal; it happily sits at 40^C and doesn’t budge, even after running for 10-12 hours under gaming loads.I would definitely recommend this if you are looking to speed up your PC, but can’t condone the expense of an NVMe drive. For the majority of applications the higher speed of NVMe won’t be required.

J' ai monté ce SSD avec un adaptateur 3,5 / 2,5 (acheté sur Amazon) sur un PC tour sans difficulté. J' ai reçu cet article rapidement et dans un emballage soigné. Je n'ai rien coché dans "Longévité" car bien entendu il faudra que ce SSD fasse ses preuves de fiabilité. Pour l'instant sa vitesse d' écriture/lecture est correcte.

Ottimo SSD facile da installare e ottimo per sostituire vecchi HD meccanici.Lo sto utilizzando su un vecchio Asus eeepc 1000H con 2gb di RAM e installando Windows 10 pro e funziona egregiamente. Certo il collo di bottiglia è il device stesso, ma dopo aver caricato tutto e scaricato gli aggiornamenti funziona in modo soddisfacente.

Lo he instalado en un PC-mini como disco auxiliar y me ha resultado muy fácil de instalar y configurar en w10, el sistema lo detecto inmediatamente solo tuve que inicializarlo en el Administrador de Discos, del sistema y a funcionar al cien por cien. Además muy buena relación calidad / precio. Recomendable.
