BEST WHISKEY SOUR MIX EVER
Mom always had this brand of mixes sitting up in the liquor cupboard to make various sour cocktails! I had my first whiskey sour back in 1978 or ‘79 when I was vacationing with my sister in California. We landed in LA, drove up the coast on rt 101 from San Diego up to San Fran. We pretty much relaxed, lunching out with a cocktail, enjoying the beauty Cali had to offer then eating at the higher rated restaurants for dinner! Early on at one lunch, I got adventurous, ordered a whiskey cocktail and said YUMMY!! Many years passed until I mentioned to my Mom that I would love to have one of those cocktails!! She said go in the liquor cupboard, there’s a box of BAR TENDERS MIX and a bottle of bourbon to make one. Use the silver shaker! This was it!! YUMMY AGAIN!! I’ve stuck with this brand as best as possible for the past 45+ years. It wasn’t always easy to find for purchase but ShopRite’s usually carried them. Then over the past couple years I found them harder to find and when I did I would buy more than 1/2 dozen boxes. I last purchased at my small market in the Adirondacks at $8.99/box!! I used to be annoyed when I had to pay $5.99/box! I’m not sure what I’ll do if this company stops producing this or goes out of business. I’ve tried to duplicate but have only. One a tad close by using a product called FROTHEE which is also a rare find!I have found I don’t need the full packet in the ratios of liquor and water in the directions. I add just a little more of equal amounts of water and bourbon and check taste. I recommend making with room temp water to dissolve to mix faster and if possible make a batch ahead of time. Or make it in a blender if some sort!I’ll pay this price here and pray I can continue to get them. Hopefully sometime soon I can order a large quantity so I’ll be stocked up🫰🏻

THE Best Whiskey Sour Mix available!!!
I LOVE a good Whiskey Sour. I was so excited when I came across this particular Whiskey Sour powdered mix. I remembered from many, many years ago. I jumped right on it and have kept it in stock ever since. It is best not to try and stretch the ingredients to make more than one drink per package. Following the exact recipe is a guaranteed winner. I have stretched it from 1 1/2 ounce whiskey and water to 2 ounces. It makes for a strong drink not quite as tasty as sticking to the recipe. This mix includes egg whites which give the drink its foam which Whiskey Sours should have. It's great!

Best Whiskey Sour Mix Hands Down
My mom loved whiskey sours and this is the brand I remember my dad having behind his bar. It is by far the best sour mix I have ever had. Now I stock it in my pantry and love that it is super tasty, easy to use and brings fond memories of my childhood. Highly recommend.

Always a good choice!
I’ve tried the mixers in bottles, and they just aren’t the same - too sweet or too full of strange flavors (?) - these powered ones allow me to add as much or as little as I like, and they don’t have that “fake” flavor.

Kentucky Bourbon Sour
Bar-Tenders Whiskey, strike that, Bar-Tenders Bourbon Sour Cocktail mix is my favorite adult beverage. My way is add to a one quart mason jar with lid three healthy shots, maybe four depending, of Kentucky Bourbon. Add the same amount of cold water. Water must be cold. You should have water in the fridge anyways for cold water at meals. Add two packages of Bar-Tenders cocktail mix. Screw the lid on the quart mason jar and shake well. Add ice to fill. Screw the lid on the quart mason jar again and shake. Remove lid and enjoy. This seems to be good for me. After that I usually just add cold water to the remaining ice and eat.

Almost as good as made-from-scratch Whiskey Sours!
I make batches of Whiskey Sours from Bartenders Mix, and have been for years! They are delicious and so easy to make, but hard to find! Thank you Amazon for making them available to me!

Make your own
After ordering this, I found out it was fairly simple to make your own sour mix. I mixed 1 cup water with 1 cup Monk Fruit Sweetener (you can use sugar, but more calories) to make the simple syrup and then added 1 cup ReaLemon and 1/2 cup ReaLime (since I'm too lazy to buy and squeeze real lemons and limes) and wound up with a good sour mix which tasted better than this product. I gave it 3 stars because it did actually make a drinkable whisky sour and it's more convenient since all you do is mix it with whisky and water (and ice), then shake it up and pour it in your ice filled glass.
