I was so very pleased when I first got these. Put one in the lighthouse yard ornament which is a sealed glass dome. The light was so bright I could see all the way from the kitchen window. Then after two days it went out and would not work again. Came in a grabbed another thinking I had a faulty one. Again after two days it went out, and ditto for number 3. Will keep trying until the whole case is gone but these are a total waste of money.

Update: After a few months and several rainstorms, I'm afraid I've lost a few. Might be outside my budget to buy these quite that often.Original: I love these lights for our patio table. Have had them for a couple of weeks. They finally ran out of their initial charge and were back in action the next day after full sun.Mine are in a frosted votive holder (one of those long, table top runner types) and they still get enough charge for 3-4hrs/night.The flicker is pleasant and not unrealistic, there is an on / off switch, and they have a built-in darkness sensor, so they it come on in low-light conditions.Used these each night in our Halloween pumpkins and charged them on the table each day. Worked better than the real candles and no worries about fire/burnt squash mildew.Great bang for my buck. One of the few recent purchases I've truly not felt ripped off over.

I purchased these to put in hanging votive holders and they fit perfectly. They charge in the sun and then come on when it gets dark. So far they seem alot safer than an open flame candle. I would buy them again.

These tea lites are perfect for my use in decorative lanterns hanging from a tree. My Pier-1 assortment of lanterns are mostly glass, rather than metal filligree, to let in as much light as possible for solar charging, and they are hanging near outer tips of branches for optimal daily sun. They have been rained on, and still work beautifully. If day is not sunny all day long, they will receive a partial charge, and therefore will stay on less than the stated glow time. But on partly cloudy days, I am thrilled they come on at dusk and stay on for a couple of hours. I emphasize, this shorter glow time is on partly cloudy days only and because I have my lanterns partially shaded by leaves in the tree. The flame color is warm amber, and the flicker is realistic. Very satisfied. In fact, I will be ordering more.

Love these solar tea lights! Put them all over our backyard in little colored glass lanterns and at night or backyard turns into a lil fairyland. Would love to reorder more, but they are no longer available ☹️

I absolutely LOVE the solar tea lights. They are perfect for the lanterns I hung in the tree and turns the backyard into a magical setting.I previously had battery operated ones that were a hassle each season to change out. The fact that these are solar and flicker like a real candle make them the perfect touch. I recommend them for anyone looking to add a little ambience to their garden.

Half of them didn’t work. I would not recommend them.

These are a nice size a look when working. Right out of the package they were flickering away. That was the one and one evening they worked. I have tried charging these in the on position and off. I have charged them in direct sunlight and under table lamp, each for a minimum of 10 hours. At best, I can get about 30secs of use before they die out.It appears that many other reviews are stating similar problems.I do not recommend these.

Very disappointed with items,don't last an hour when charged, purchased pack of 8,three didn't work at all, probably ask for a refund. £17.99 grudgingly spent.might ask seller to replace with more reliable ones.
