Purchased for work. Bright colors and perfect fit.As a guy that is 6'4, this tie was the perfect length.

First, consider the price. Nine dollars for a tie is very inexpensive. Second, check your expectations of this tie being the same as a fifty dollar tie and enjoy your purchase!I purchased this tie in a red and silver combination (doesn't seem to be available at the time I'm writing this review) to give as a gift to a teacher who coaches a track team with silver and red as their school colors. The tie arrived packaged in a clear plastic bag so I had to dress it up a bit with a box and some tissue, but the end result was the same as if I'd spent a lot more money. He was pleased and it looks great on.I'd recommend these Scott Allan Men's Striped Neckties to folks on a budget who still want to look good!

Scott Allan Ties are worth the money spent, for sure. At a department store you will spend a minimum of $45 for a similar looking tie. There is a major difference though, because they are not silk they don't tie and well/easily. Now, I suspect that most people buying these are not daily tie wearers (as evidenced by the comments about proms and sporadic usage). For those who wear ties daily and own many brand name ties, you will notice a difference and you will prefer your other ties as far as ease of tying and feel.These ties do a wonderful job as far as looks are concerned, so if you don't wear ties often or just need a few (or are broke) these are perfect. They look great, once you can get them tied and sitting correctly (takes me a little longer, silk ties I can have on and perfect within 20 seconds) they look excellent and the low price enables you to buy many more.Worth the buy, but if you have the money and wear ties daily just buy silk from the store, it will save you the slight hassles related. To reiterate, I gave three stars because they are "okay" in the world of ties, but what you get for the price is pretty damn good.

Bought this tie to match the colors of my sons wedding. It was a better match than I thought it would be. The only reason I did not give this 5 stars it was very slightly wrinkled when I got it so I warmed up my iron, used a ironing cloth in between the iron and tie and the material seem to shriveled oh so slightly so I stopped. Didn't hurt the tie but if I ironed more the original wrinkles would have looked better. I have ironed ties before so I knew what I was doing!

The Sunday before Christmas, I was planning to wear a burgundy velvet sports blazer, light gray check pants, burgundy double monk strap shoes, gray sweater vest and a white shirt. I was shopping for a burgundy & gray tie and ran across this one, on Amazon, Needless to say on that Sunday, I received numerous compliments at church. Amazon has a great variety of ties and at discount prices, can't go wrong. I'm never dissatisfied with items, purchased. Always great quality a well made, I would definitely recommend for others to purchase.

This is a great tie. It came in clear plastic packaging and is well made. It is 3.3 inches wide so not necessarily the slim variety worn these days but it is not too wide either. The tie back is stitched with thread of a different color, which I did not like too much. Also, the color in the picture looks much better - the tie is slightly duller in reality. Overall a good product though and definitely worth the price.

Excellent quality. Nice fabric and size. I have several of these, including ties from Tommy Hilfiger, Hugo Boss et al. The Scott Allan ties are just as good depending on your particular style and taste for tie.You will not be disappointed by Scott Allan ties. I recommend.
