Boring, meandering nonsense - Refund?
Best not to buy versus having buyer’s remorse. SPOILER!!The set-up was very promising but at chapter 2 it was all down hill. This was not a pleasant read. The H(?) is a 30+ male whose continuous inner monologue is about his failure as a seven year old in not predicting / warning his parents that his months old sibling was going die of SIDS. 😳. The heroine is less annoying but equally as poorly written as, after years of bickering and avoidance, she suddenly decides to start propositioning him at every meeting. Considering her previous experience was limited to a useless teenage encounter, her sudden boldness was odd. Cutting to the end - HER leaves H, and after a weird, ridiculous, incomplete conversation with his mother, the H realizes he loves her...

Ok read
This was a good read, the h and H had a love-hate relationship. They couldn’t stand each other, but really loved each other. The pregnancy brought them together. The ending felt rushed, left a lot to the imagination. It was a quick read, it was lacking.

love hidden in plain sight
What happens when you put two people that their family have been trying to force into a relationship together in a hotel mix up. Another great story by Ms. Milburne. Sabrina Midhurst is a wedding dress designer and is checking into a hotel for her wedding expo when finds out there was no reservation. She needs to be there and starts to panic. Enter Max Firbank who is at the same hotel on business when he over hears her dilemma . He offers her to share his room as it has two beds. Put two people together one who doesn't do love and one who discovers she has feelings for him and you have a story of discovery. When Sabrina finds out she is pregnant from their night together she does the right thing and tells Max, his answer is marriage, the family would be besides themselves in excitement because that is what they always wanted to happen. But does Sabrina want to be in a one sided marriage all for the sake of a child. But is it really only for the child or do they really love each other . This book also brings back Holly Sabrina's true friend from Ms. Milburnes previous book. Don't miss this one its wonderful.

What a fabulous story this one is
MS Milburne knows how to write a story that has the right amount of emotions and feelings that bring the heroes and heroines to life on the pages and this one is no different, I loved Max and Sabrina, close family friends, these two had been doing everything in their power for years to really not like each other, but there is a very fine line between love and hate and one very passionate night in Venice changes everything for them.Sabrina Midhurst is a wedding dress designer she has been dreaming of her own wedding since she was four years old and now she does this for a lot of brides, when she is in Venice for a show and there is a problem with her room booking close family friend Max steps up and helps out, but keeping their sensual pull to themselves is of no use and they give in to the need between them, only for there to be consequences that will leave them reeling in lots of ways.Max Firbank is an architect a very good one, he is an only child and has been stood up by an ex-fiancé, Max is always being pushed by his parents and his God-Parents to get closer to family friend Sabrina but there is no way he wants the fairy tale that Sabrina wants and their relationship leans towards lots of arguing, but he cannot help but step in when needed and one kiss, one night of passion and Max is re-thinking what he really wants in life. This is such a great story, Sabrina and Max had been so used to fighting and hating each other since they were children that realizing that hate was really love shocked both of them, Max had a few issues from his past that had haunted him and Sabrina was the one to help with that, thank you MS Milburne for another fabulous story, you never disappoint, you know how to draw a reader in with feelings and emotions and had me sighing at the beautiful HEA in this one.

She can heal him
Sabrina has come to Venice to show off her wedding dress designs. Unfortunately her new incompetent assistant has forgotten to book her a hotel room. As luck would have it Max the son of her parents best friends is also staying in the hotel. Unfortunately they both don't get on, what with both sets of parents trying to get them together. When Max arrives and sees Sabrina's problem, he reluctantly suggests they share a room together. Sabrina isn't happy about it, but sees no other solution. She is determined not to kiss him after what happened last time. Max hasn't forgotten that kiss either. Forced to be in such close proximity, its only a matter of time before they give in to their desires. The next morning they both go their separate ways. Until Sabrina realizes she is pregnant.Ever since his baby brother died of SIDS Max has blamed himself and refused to have children. Can Sabrina open his heart up and find happiness? Recommended for fans of contemporary romance. Another winner from Melanie Milburne.

Venetian baby
Quite a good read, but I usually really like Melanies' books. This book fell a bit short on the storyline for me.

Well written traditional M & B
Very well written steamy M & B romance. I really felt the connection between the H/h and loved their story. Smiles right through.
