50A Wireless Surge Guard Portable Surge Protector

I like this because I can monitor it with my cell phone on blu tooth. And it will protect your RV from fire or damage to electrical equipment. I have had serval repair men recommend this surge protector. The $100 dollar ones will not protect your RV it will only warn you of a bad electrical surge. I know I have been there.

We also contacted customer service with questions and received a response within minutes. So often we buy from Amazon and never hear back from a seller but this one is attentive and ensures you are taken care of. I cannot recommend purchasing from them enough!

While it isn't cheap, the functions and safety it offers for our RV investment is worthwhile. As an Energy Management System the fact that it checks the pedestal wiring before we hook up is a bonus, then the protection against energy dips or spikes destroying our equipment puts our minds at ease. We considered buying the simple surge protector to save a few $$$, in the long run the EMS is the better value and this price was the best we fond anywhere.

This has saved me from hooking to a few bad campground pedestals and has shut off the electric when there was a problem with the electric supply. I don't know what the issues were that caused it to shut off the electricity. All I know is that the electricity in our RV went off, then came back on several minutes later, so it did it's job. This has wifi to communicate with a Southwire display that can be placed inside the RV so you can check the voltage and fault status from inside the RV.

I have had this product in use for almost 7 months as a full timer. I bought it after a low voltage situation at a park blew out half my circuit breakers. I was lucky that was all the damage there was. Low and high voltage are a threat. I have had it kick in multiple times over the past 7 months protecting my RV. I recommend people get the protection for their RVs and also recommend this brand. It would be nice if they had a grip that would make it easier to insert and remove the RV power cord to the unit which is why I have it 4 stars for ease of use.

Did not work out of the box neither did the Bluetooth DO NOT buy this hunk. Beverly disappointed in southwire

Works great. Saved me a few times with low voltage and broken neutrals. This is my second one. The first one started acting up and shutting off when everything was ok.
