The big adjustment knob is nice. Feels good in the hand. Feels rock solid both landscape and vertical.

It works well. Sometimes it's easy to over tighten the knob and I'm afraid I might break it.

Solid and smooth.
I purchased this to replace the factory head on my Slik tripod. Installation guide was not very helpful. The ball head is solid but a little heavy. Panning is quite smooth. It has no problems mounting and holding a Canon 7D & 70-200 f2.8 II in portrait orientation. Very solid.
