Bulbrite 40W Fiesta Style Chandelier Bulb, Medium Base, Amber (6 Pack Amber)

This is a golden amber, as shown in the product. The tint probably blocks all wavelengths below 500. I use these in the overhead fixture in my bedroom and then more reddish amber bulbs in the lamps at night; that's just my personal preference. Incandescent and halogen bulbs are a gem; they are far superior for the health of our eyes, brains, and bodies in general. If you look at the issue in that light, you won't think that 95% of the energy they use is "wasted". You will know that the energy used to illuminate these bulbs creates a beautiful full spectrum of light that is far closer to natural firelight than junky LED products. If you want to save energy though, get some orange LED lights by sunlite (3 watt, 25 watt equivalent) or sleek lighting (3 watt, 40 watt equivalent) or Phillips (8 watt, 75 watt equivalent).

Exact replacement I needed for an antique lamp we inherited from my husband’s grandmother. Can’t find this bulb in any stores and I love the soft amber glow it gives off. Really didn’t want to put a glaring LED bulb in our beautiful vintage lamp.

Prior to me moving in the landlord made very liberal use of those flush mount “boob” lights and loaded them with cheap harsh LED bulbs. My two story townhouse has a total of 7 of these lights four on the first floor, three on the second floor and one in the basement. I used these bulbs for both of the lights in the master bedroom and one of the kitchen lights. I’m not big on decor but having one bright light source in the middle of the ceiling just doesn’t work well for a primary light source. These bulbs make them more of a less harsh ambient light source that’s functional but not obnoxious.

I love the soft glow from these bulbs. Wish I could have them in every room. So calming. Item was packaged very nicely and no bulbs were broken.

Use as a night light.

The company did a great job shipping these. Each bulb individually boxed, then all bubble wrapped and boxed. I could not locate this color in stores. Very pleased.

I like the soft amber light

Bought (2) six packs @ $20.84 ea. Day of delivery now listed from another vendor for same six pack for $16.99 ea. Took 14 days to arrive. To return have to pay postage which is about 1/2 of savings. Bad value for the money.

Absolutely perfect. Even nicer than the ones I had (and was running out of). Really pretty, warm glow. Almost like a flame.

Dans mon lampadaire extérieur, elles sont trop jaunes à mon avis et n’éclairent pas assez. Ça prendrait 60 watts.
