Guide was the next best thing, ruling out having your grandchildren helping you. Seriously it was very easy to use walked us through using the functions of this great technology.

Larger paperback, great pictures and good step by step helpful easy language for beginners. My son/girlfriend bought me my first MacBook Air and this book has helped. The book is good for Seniors due to larger text:). I would definitely suggest to purchase, price is okay and great delivery from Amazon.

..for what it is. There is some useful information in there in terms of short cuts using the key board that I never knew about plus a section with a recommendation on how to get back trash you threw out. I am graduating down perhaps from an IMac to this or a MacPro. I am buying used in my case. There is nothing to help you in this regard like transferring your Itunes to a new operating system that is Catalina. Mostly I will depend on google and youtube for these helps. I felt the book was designed by a very capable writer who just focused on someone buying a MAC Air having never had this kind of computer before perhaps having a PC before. Consider it a manual for the MACBook Air. This is a book that is directed to the new 64 bit processor type MAC Airs but some of the set up may be helpful with older units so you will have to pick and choose. I will donate to my library later since it is right up to date with the latest for the 2020 Mac Air.

This book was a waste of my money. I already knew everything it covers and it didn't answer the one question I had about creating new folders in the new operating system.

I bought this book as I am new to the MacBook as all my previous laptops were Windows versions. To be honest it didn’t help me with some tasks which I figured out for myself through trial and error. It is useful for the more basic stuff and for learning keyboard shortcuts as well as editing photos. It is now sitting on my bookshelf as a reference tool should I need to refer to it in the future.

So easy to look up issues and to follow, pictures idiot proof and relevant.
