Heidi Heckelbeck in Disguise (4)

these books are a great cross between a hybrid graphic novel and a solid novel. They have a few pictures with I think help the kids that can't seem to see the characters in their heads. Its perfect for those kids who want a chapter book but can't commit to the true chapter books yet.

i love books actually more than movies im in 4th grade and my school libary dosent have heidi hecklbeck but my old school did it only takes me about 15 minets to read a whole book but thats because i am in fourth grade when this book is only ment to be fo 1st and 2end graders toadaly recomend bye!

I purchased this book for a young girl that I know so I haven't read this yet. And probably won't since I'm giving it to her. But I have read a number of other books in the Heidi Heckelbeck series and love them all. There are pictures on every page and that definitely keeps the interest of young readers. The characters are so cute and funny. We laugh at loud at some of the predicaments that Heidi gets herself into.

We generally enjoy the Heidi Heckelbeck series. My 6-year-old and I usually fly through a book a day on the weekends. My 6-year-old was engaged in the story. I was a little disappointed with this one in particular through. The author mentions (via Heidi) that a police officer and fire fighter are "boy costumes". I'd expect more from any children's book written this day and age.

Great book, I buy 2 of these a week for my daughter. It keeps her reading thru the summer and she loves them!

We love Heidi Heckelbeck, another great story for my daughter. She is age 7 and helps read along with these books.

My 7-year-old daughter loves this series. It's a great beginner chapter book. My daughter has read the Judy Moody series, Stink, Junie B, Treehouse, etc--and this ranks in the top three for her. A good reader can cruise thru these books in a day--but it's an entertaining and enjoyable cruise. Great drawings, too.

My six year old daughter enjoys all the Heidi Heckelbeck books.
