There was an ongoing dialogue over the years between Max Salazar and Leonardo Acosta. Salazar from New York and Acosta from Havana. Reading these two in tandem was a constant journey between the two cities and how the music flowed and was shaped by both. Great fun!

Max Salazar is a great historian of the Latin music scene.

A must book for those who wish to know the wonderful history of Latin music as it evolved in New York. Wonderful told by Mr. Salazar.
