Raspberry Pi Camera Case/Enclosure - Green Transparent Assemble in 30 secs

Excellent quality. I wish I had found them in clear.

As others have reported, the Pi Camera V2.1 does not fit this case properly. The "pegs" that slide into the holes on the camera printed circuit board don't allow the camera to line up with the hole in the front of the case. I ended up snipping those posts off and was able to get the camera to fit into the hole properly, but I have to be careful that the board does not slide back in the case. Additionally, I can't get the case to snap shut unless I remove some of the plastic on the "struts" that stick out of the back of the case to hold the camera board forward. All in all, a cheap case that need a lot of help to make work.

The case is decent quality, but appears to have been designed for a different camera module. The lens opening doesn't quite line up. As a result you cannot completely close the case. You can enlarge the whole with a drill or dremel to make it fit, but that should not be necessary.

Works great for the v1.3 camera, but the screw holes are way bigger than the included screws and it kinda wobbles around

This case wanted to pop open all the time, and the camera didn't fit inside quite perfectly. I also couldn't find a good place to mount this separately from the Pi, so I ended up getting a case that holds both the Pi and the camera all in one instead.

If you've read the other reviews of this camera case (in any of its various colors) you've heard read that it doesn't quite fit the camera module properly. I had the same experience with this case.The bottom line: you can hack this thing to make it work. And, honestly, if you're the kind of person who's buying an exposed camera board to hook up to your raspberry pi, you're perfectly comfortable with hacking something like this - and I am too, I just don't believe I should have to.I can't speak for others experiences, but I had two issues with this case in getting the camera to fit. First is that the two tabs on the back piece of the case are too long and will not fit (or will place unnecessary pressure on the back of the camera module) with the camera installed when the case is snapped together. No serious problem here - a small pair of scissors or clippers can remedy this in just a few seconds. Secondly, the case has four pegs which fit into the board's mounting holes. These pegs are positioned such that they DO line up with the holes in the module, however when my camera sits on these holes, the lens is not properly centered in the hole in the case. It does not obstruct the lens in such a way that the case is visible in photographs, but the lens is very obviously mis-aligned with where the designers of the case intended it to be.All in all, its a pretty mediocre case with generally "meh" fit and finish. That said, I hacked mine and although it looks a little hokey, its protecting my camera module very well. If they can fix these issues with the mold, this would be a case I would absolutely recommend without question. As it is - I might look for a better designed case with improved construction.

I purchased this case for a Raspberry Pi camera module (version 2) and I find after trying to fit these together they are not compatible. Lens does not line up with the hole and the case does not close as one of the support pegs presses on one of the surface components.On the plus, Delivered on time and would have been ideal.

The camera fits very nicely in this case and it can be mounted easily with some screws

The camera fits, bit of velcro would have been good for different fixtures but does what it is meant to!

Neat case for my camera. Have stuck it on the top of my Raspberry Pi case.

Ci ho messo un po' a fissare la Cam nella sua sede. Non riuscivo a far corrispondere il foro del Case con la lente della camera... Ma alla fine è andato tutto in sede, e la scatolina è perfetta.Nella confezione è presente anche un piccolo biadesivo per fissare il contenitore a una superficie, e anche due vitine autofilettante (che ho usato!).Sono soddisfatto!
