WOW! Isabella Starling has created an evocative, heart-wrenching, emotion-packed story that's absolutely stunning!
Bebe Hall is an "it" girl. Trust fund baby, party girl, not a care in the world. Or at least that's the way it seems. But it's not real. She carries darkness deep in her soul. If she stays on the carousel on which she's jumped, keeps herself distracted, there's only one outcome. When she allows herself to think about it, which is far too often, she's pushes herself harder to hide behind her mask. She's well aware she's on a downward spiral, but she can't help herself. Is there any way to stop this? Does she even want to? Then Miles Reilly appears, and she may never be the same. One fateful night she sees her neighbor pushed up against his window across from her apartment, half naked, having sex with another woman. Rather than being repulsed, she's intrigued, fascinated. She can't stop watching. There's something about Miles, the sheer raw, animalistic presence he generates, that pulls her in and won't let go. It's harmless, an anonymous peep show, right? But then Miles sees her watching. It's no longer a faceless, harmless peep show. And Miles is just as captivated by Bebe as she is with him. But Miles is deeply scarred, maybe even more so than Bebe. They might live across from each other but they might as well be on different planets. What do you do when you're obsessed, to the exclusion of all else, with someone who's unreachable? Both know the impossibility of the odds. Agoraphobia, terror of the past, seemingly irreparable scars...these two have so much yet so little in common. They each live in their own prison. Is there a way to break free? Can either face the truth, find a way out? The odds seem insurmountable. If they can't find a way to break the cycle of self-destruction, can they escape the inevitable? Will they have to settle for the peep show? Or can they escape the mutually assured destruction that will raze both their worlds to the ground?Isabella Starling's a fairly new author for me. This book grabbed me from the first page and wouldn't let go. Miles and Bebe are both damaged and broken in their own ways, and Ms. Starling captures them in exacting detail. I literally had to stop reading and walk away from the book several times while reading it. That's not to say it triggered me in any way. It just resonated so deeply that it was overwhelming at times. On the surface, both Bebe and Miles present a facade that things are perfect. It seems like they have absolutely nothing in common. But even one scratch to their surfaces and that perfect exterior cracks to reveal things you never suspect. As odd as it might seem, I related far more closely with Miles that I did with Bebe. That's not to say I didn't feel Bebe's pain and the reason behind it. But Miles hit far too close to home for me. At times, Bebe's desperate need to keep going, ignore her pain, use any method to keep that pain at bay is absolutely terrifying. Miles has his own coping methods that are just as nightmarish as Bebe's. The fact that these two can connect on any level is unbelievable. But their worlds don't just intersect. They collide with a force that's unstoppable. I stand in awe of Ms. Starling's capability as an author. She's brilliant! And after reading the final notes included at the end of the book, I was even more impressed with Ms. Starling. This book and its characters have left a lasting impression on me. I don't think I'll ever forget them or their story. I can't give this book anything less than five stars. Congratulations, Ms. Starling. This book is extraordinary! One final note. Please be an informed reader! This is an ADULT book. It contains explicit language and some dark, dubious consensual sexual scenes. If you don't enjoy this genre, this book may not be the one for you. There are book synopses and reviews available on Goodreads and Amazon. Use these resources. DON'T LEAVE A NEGATIVE REVIEW WHEN YOU KNOW YOU WON'T ENJOY THE BOOK. It's not fair to the author. She works extremely hard to provide a quality work product. If you know you'll object to the book's subject matter before you buy it, you're doing yourself and the author an extreme disservice. Thanks for reading my review and happy reading

Dark, heart wrenching, beautiful read.
Honestly, I don't think I have the words to convey how much and why I love this book. I have only read a couple of other books by Isabella Starling prior to reading Peep Show, and though they were good, this book turned me into a major fan. I mean seriously, I originally received this as an ARC, but bought it anyway because I need to make sure I don't lose it if I switch devises...it's that good! This book starts out down and dirty and hot AF. Pretty early on, we start to glean details about both Bebe and Miles, aided by the alternating POV. Both have suffered tragedy and trauma and struggle with coping the best they know how. Their love story is beautifully dark and twisted as they navigate around their own demons to try to find a peace that has, until this glimmer of hope they see in each other, remained elusive. Really, I feel like this story is as much about their burning hope, that neither feels they deserve, but that both have a visceral need for.Now don't get me wrong, This thing is also filled with some seriously dark and dirty sexiness that is guaranteed to get your juices flowing. Peep Show has more than enough kink and steam to keep knickers soaked, hearts racing, and the story balanced. No lie, this book had me wrecked. One minute I'm getting all hot and bothered and the next I'm ugly crying. Now, let me get the technical stuff out of the way...This book is really well written. Both the story and the characters are well developed. The story unfolds naturally with no confusion as to timeline, character placement or locations. Conversations seem natural and accurately represent the character qualities and disposition that each person has. Besides a book being riddled with missed editing opportunities, and cliches, the above are the things that interrupt me being engrossed in a book. There are none of those problems in Peep Show. Again, it's just really well written. If romance with dark themes and graphic scenes is your thing, then you need to do yourself a favor and read this book. Peep Show opens with a bang and hits the ground running. This is a fabulous story about two dark, twisted people seeking some kind of redemption and peace while battling their demons and trying to save each other. I can pretty much promise three things will happen when reading this book...1. You will NOT want to put this down until the very last page...2. You will need tissues and dry panties...3. You are going to love this book..

Hooked On This Dark & Powerful Story - 4 1/2 Stars
Peep Show is a dark, powerful and incredible story. The reader is taken on a roller coaster of emotions. Bebe and Miles are both troubled and hurt people. Isabella Starling had me hooked and enthralled in this story from the beginning. Peep Show has what the reader is looking for, romance, intriguing characters, drama, twists, and unique storyline. Bebe Hall is an attractive party girl. She is trying to dull the pain and forget the wounds of the past. She is very self destructive. Will Bebe find love? Will she be able to find better and healthier ways to cope with her past? Miles is sexy millionaire photographer. He is used to being in charge. Miles is definitely an alpha with women. Miles has his own demons that he deals with. He doesn't leave his apartment, because of his phobia. Both Bebe and Miles try to put on a strong and brave front, but they are have moments of weakness and vulnerability. Together Miles and Bebe's chemistry is off the charts. Peep Show is one of my favorite books by Isabella Starling. I always appreciate the dual POV's. I enjoy when you get to understand each characters view point through out the story. I adored the sizzling scenes with Miles and Bebe. ' Fanning myself ' I volunteered for this book as an arc, but bought it to support the author.Overall Story - 4 1/2 StarsChemistry - 5 StarsPOV's - Alternating / Dual POV'sDark - YesCliffhanger - NoRecommend to Others - Yes

A stunningly, emotional book...
It may have 2 very sexually charged main characters, who can talk so filthy and have such dirty fantasies as well as real time encounters, but this is so so much more than that.Read this book with an open mind. It made me cry at certain times due to the internal emotional harm the main characters were going through. I guess I just recognised some of that internal battle. The book was recommended of a face book page by someone asking for the dirtiest, filthiest, smuttiest reads. It is that too. The cover really did make me read the blurb and then I thought I was going to get a run of the mill dirty book. But I was so so wrong. In the acknowledgement at the end, the author wrote"I know we all have our demons, our secrets. I am hoping that Miles, Bebe and I have taught you it’s okay to speak about them. It’s okay to say you’re hurting. There are people who will help you. There are people who care." That, in itself, gives you greater context about this book.It does have a happy ending, which it needed, as the author put us through a mangle of emotions. It is truly Amazing and exceptional.

Inconsistent
There was soo many inconsistencies in this book that it became a joke. One second the men had on condoms and she saw them putting them on, the next he was angry coz they were in her ‘raw’. His name changed from Reilly to O’Reilly every other time it was printed. She went out at 11pm but yet he was sneaking into her apartment at 9pm. Him and his mum left her sisters and mum started working at seedy bar and then they got kicked out of mum’s sisters? It got so tedious towards the middle that I had to force myself to read the ending. This book had soo much promise but fell flat.

This is unlike anything I've ever read.Voyeurism is a new trope for me and was nothing like I was expecting...And I was here for it.The plot was well written, touching on mental health topics beautifully and sensitively.Myles and Bebes, there story is addictive, meaningful and spicy.I loved read there character dynamics and development of them both.I felt a lot of emotions reading this.Take note of trigger warnings.

Blown away.
I started this with no real expectations of what it would be and I'm glad because it would have ripped them up and shredded them anyway. I have been more than mildly obsessed with this story and now I 've finished it I know I'm going to read it again. I've only done that twice before ever ! The intensity between Bebe and Miles from the first glance is crackling hot. Both are totally messed up but so human that you can't help but feel each emotion dragging you further in. Totally loved it !
