Q: I purchased this for a 5 gallon american maid bottle. it's top big to screw onto the top. why is mine not fitting?

Wrong size - pump opening is slightly too large, I'm pretty sure American Maid (I have one) is a 2" opening bottle, which is 50.8mm, but this pump suited for 52-55mm bottles. I wonder if it would work if you tightened it with a 2" hose clamp rather than the spinning nut (careful not to break anything)

Q: Does the pump fit Primo water bottles from Walmart and Lowes?

I purchased this for water bottles I got at Walmart (not Primo brand) and it does not work. It doesn’t fit securely on the neck. Walmart bottles have threads on them and this pump is for bottles without threads.

Q: Is there a way to use this pump to pump water out of a Brick Water storage container? 1.6 gallon (3.25" opening) or 3.5 gallon (3.50" opening))

It will work to pump water out of all containers, but if it does not have somewhere or how to sit, like a flat surface or a 3 to 5gal jug, then It is my opinion it will not serve as it should.
