very easy to use and set up could do with more sturdiness but i think the more you use it you can get all the angles correct and be easy to use.

Tricky to place on my phone on. One you get it, the phone stays in place. I attached my first picture taken on the phone using this attachment with my telescope.

This little until is easy to configure and is highly adjustable so I can see it accommodatibg even the largest of smartphones. For my part I used with a Google pixel 7 and an iPhone x to great effect. I only have a little portable hobby telescope, but even that was able to get some photos of planets and the moon. It takes a little tweaking to get the phone camera lense to line up with the telescope but once done you can tighten the screws to hold it all firmly in place. Definitely good value for money over flimier looking alternatives I have seen.

Good points: Simple design compatible with almost any scope and phone. Main frame is metal and solid. Quite steady. Takes decent photos. (See below, I was really pleased). Phone clamp has foam cushioning and holds phone well. Same brand as my binoculars. Bad points: The big issue for me is that the natural place for it to clamp my iPhone, (both a 12 and a 16), in a vertical position (as per instructions) is where the power button/volume controls are. So I have to clamp to one eyepiece and photograph through the other. Less steady and safe. Phone clamp is only plastic and cracked when I dropped it-it did glue very neatly though, and I’ve had no more problems. Very fiddly to set up just right, but quite steady when set. Quite big with all the screws and clamps poking out.

Do not buy this. Its a nightmare to line up with a mobile phone camera. Pay the extra for a better quality one. Clamped in my phone with case still on and wouldnt hold. Clamped in without its case and it popped out and fell on the floor and cracked my screen .

I'm now able to mount my phone to my microscope thanks to this tool. Nice and simple bracket.

Celestron are great company it’s not just some cheap plastic it’s metal and works great

This is a well-engineered device. It is strong and well designed. The instructions say, “make sure to mount the clamp on a section of the eyepiece barrel that does not rotate freely, such as the eye relief adapter.” Unfortunately, that means I cannot use the adapter with my Celestron 8 x 25 binoculars. I am still hopeful that it will work with my telescope.
