It's a hole saw. It WILL cut holes in concrete, but carbide hole saws don't live long that way. You have to expect to only use this when your bit is bouncing off of the rebar and making you cuss a bit, or a lot. With that you get a bit of pulverization around the rebar, so don't back off the rebar too soon. This will last longer that way. It won't last long if you use it as a primary hole cutter and so fail to baby it. **Q: does this bit also drill concrete?** A: Thank you for your question. The RC2064 is designed for rebar only, using in concrete will damage the bit.
