Scuba Choice Palantic Scuba Diving Spearfishing Nylon Torpedo Float with Dive Flag

I like that this one has an internal bladder. With others the skin itself is what holds air. The bladder makes it more durable if you get a tear in the outer skin. I spearfish about 100 days per year and this float has taken a beating getting in and out of rough water in rocky areas. It helps to add a 1-2lb weight to the bottom(inside) to keep it upright. I also changed the flag to a legal size dove flag which helps with visibility… lots of boats fishing the same areas

This is a fantastic float especially when paired with a float line for spear fishing. Unfortunately the flag that is provided is not legal size (honestly not even close) so replacing that can be an issue but other than that the float is pretty heavy duty easy to fill up and tracks through the water well. I recommend putting a weight on the bottom middle strap also to make sure your dice flag doesn’t go underwater.

This is the perfect size and is great quality. I looked at many similar products and this one to me was the best for the price!

Recieved mine without a dive flag ugh! Took it out to my local beach yesterday and it held up pretty well. Both outer shell and inner inflatable tube felt durable. I do however recommend replacing the float line as it tangles very easily. The tube rolls around a lot, but it had no problem staying afloat with a medium sized reef fish on a stringer attached to it.

It arrived with 2 factory defects: 1. Seal on innertube was not patent. 3 inch hole in seam, factory did not seal it up properly before shipping it.2. Mouthpiece for air was not perforated, you could try blowing it up all day but since there was no hole for air to enter the innertube, it would not fill up.Completely useless and a waste of money.

Good product

Tough thick nylon, good stitching, and the line is strong enough for what I need. The float only filled out the case 3/4 of the way, but not really an issue. Only thing I'm kind of wary with is that the flag locks in. Won't ever fall out, but it will never come out once you put it in.
