Japanese Beetles can’t resist
This works very well for trapping Japanese Beetles that were decimating our tree. Very easy to set up. Attractant scent is strong. It works very well.

It rescued our apple trees but the beetles don't like it one bit
I bet everyone knows how this works, right? There is a slippery bag and some pellet at the mouth that smells in ways that attracts the Japanese Beetles. They try to get to the pellet but they fall in the bag and they can't come out of it because it's slippery and there's not enough room for them to take flight. This is so efficient, you could get 'pounds' of beetles after the first couple of days. Disposal is a little bit of a problem because there's nothing that kills them. So, after a few days, you end up with a bagful of mostly alive insects, desperately struggling to get out of there. The good side of this: they don't kill you fruit trees. They almost managed to destroy a couple before they got this treat but if you can't stand the idea of mass insect entrapment... think of something else.

Works great! Beetles love it.
The media could not be loaded. This product works great. Within minutes of opening the pheromone pack I was getting swarmed by the Beatles. I set the bag up away from my garden in the corner. I came back a couple hours later, and the bag was 1/3 filled. I would recommend this product to anyone battling beetles in their garden. Worth the investment.

Murder death kill beetles
This product is amazing for attracting the hateful j. Beetles. My only complaint is it's supposed to be resealable. It technically is but when u try to seal it after dumping it doea not make a full seal and the little nasties can then escape. We solved this problem by placing a tub/5 gal bucket under it. I do this even before we dump it bc they arent adept fliers and will just fall in so it's just an added bonus. I will and already have bought these again. The attractant outlasted their rampage. I can still smell it faintly after 2+months. It says u can replace attractant 2 but 1 the bags look pretty gross after the 1st attractant wears out and I would NOT want to store it for winter and 2 I could not find replacement for it....not that I spent more then 5 min on amazon trying. I also like that it reseals bc you dont have to buy extra bags and use more single use plastics. We have almost 4 acres and got buy with 2 of these at wither end of the property. This is not a cure all we still used 7 on our grapes, Rose's, crab apple, pussy willow, apple trees, holly hock, and lindon. They also est smart weed as well bit as the name implies we did not 7 it. Update I left the attractant out all winter and I still vaguely catch a whiff of it. That stuff is strong. Not important just interesting

Does not work
I haven’t collected a single Japanese beetle. I hung it according to the directions. No beetle in the bag and beetles on the plant.I’m back to spraying soapy water on my plants.

Japanese Beetle Cruise Ship
This product works so well that I recommend you set the traps out with neighbors present. The first time I placed these traps in my yard(which is 4 or 5 years ago)I was alone in my backyard. As soon as I had the lure package open, Beetles started flying around me. Once the trap was hung, one of the wildest things happened right before my eyes. Beetles were coming up out of the ground and out of surrounding bushes to get at that lure(as if two cruise ships were loading passangers). Within 30 minutes I had over a estimate of 100 Beetles in each of the Beetle Trap catch bags. Since that day, I purchase the Beetle Traps every year around Memorial Day. Every year the Beetle count has gone down. This year I may have 100 Beetles total between the two traps. I have noticed a huge difference in the amount of beetles that get into my pool. My trees, plants, grape vine, and bushes have a fraction of the damage to them now than before I started using the Beetle Traps.Tivo24x7Bel Air, Maryland USA

Great at attracting and collecting beatles
I love everything about this kit except for the long twist tie styled hanger. As the kit blows in the wind, the tie gets twisted and eventually completely breaks.

Works well
Works well, the scent is still functioning after several weeks though is diminished. Caught a decent amount of the beetles which our chickens then devoured.

works like a charm
just be careful when putting this together. Beetles started swarming as soon as I took out the piece that attracts them. better to assemble in the house before bringing it outside.
