Drain King 340 All In One Easy to Use Drain Unclogging Kit, 1.5 To 3 Inch

I had a TOTAL block from my kitchen sink and even using my bathroom sink would cause yucky water to come up into my bathtub. Drain cleaner had worked ONLY on the bathroom drains where the tub no longer backed up, but did nothing for my kitchen sink, which remained totally blocked. I at first tried using this product from the cleanout valve under my kitchen sink and it did not work and water only backed up from that pipe into my cabinet and all over the floor. I was disappointed, but went to the drain king website and it said if that did not work, use the clean out valve outside of the house. It was easy to find that. Anyway, I did just that and my totally clogged drain became clear and free flowing within a couple of minutes. I plan on trying this product again from the clean out under the sink, just to make sure that there isn't any buildup left and to hopefully make sure my drains are totally free and clear before it gets cold. So for now, this product definitely gets a 5 star review. This is something I've longer for so long and only thought was available as an attachment to a pressure washer until I found this product instead. I am so happy to have something very similar and that worked on something even the most corrosive drain cleaner that usually works didn't open up. All I can say is it IS worth it and so helpful. For what I paid for this, I have already spent double on in the past couple of years. Do it now and best to use from your clean out from the outside IF you have a total block.

Key Notes & Tips: Prevention > reaction: Use this kit regularly instead of waiting for a full-blown clog. Preventive maintenance works wonders. Vents matter: If there’s a plumbing vent between your cleanout access and the clog, it won’t work — not a flaw, just physics. Best used proactively: While it can blast open fully clogged drains, it’s far more effective when used at the first sign of slowdown or every 6–9 months as preventive care. Shutoff valve helps: If you need to run a separate garden hose to reach the cleanout, a valve makes setup much simpler. Use the right size: Never inflate the bladder outside a pipe — it will split. Match your pipe size to the kit attachment. I use the 1.5–3” attachment even on my 2” pipe; it’s safer than risking a smaller size splitting. Know its limits: It clears clogs with back pressure. I rarely leave reviews, but I had to in this thing. My kitchen sink has about a 30ft run until it hits my main drain line, and has a bad tendency to develope a grease clog about 15-20ft down. Drain chemicals won't touch it. My 3/8 25ft auger just punches through but then the clog close back up when I pull it out. Everytime it happens I'm never able to successfully clear it unless I pay a plumber or rent one of the big powered augers. Last time I paid $275 for the plumber, and if I rent the auger its almost $100. I recently learned of the Drain King and thought I'd try it. Popped it in my clean out and let it go for about 3 minutes, then did another round for 3-4 minutes. My sinks drain perfectly fine now. This thing was worth every penny. I really couldn't tell you how well it works for other clogs like hair or objects but for the grease plugs I get it worked perfect

Worked great for my A/C to flush out growth. Has good potential do to so with other drains such as sinks. The product simpley expands with water pressure and allows flow to push the clog out of the way. (the size you need may vary depending on the size of the drain/pipe etc.) Solid product.

This thing is great!! After using chemical drain cleaner and running an auger down my kitchen sink drain line multiple times failed to clear a clog, I bought this, hooked it up to a garden hose I had on an outdoor spigot (for higher pressure), and it cleared the clog in seconds. Well worth the price because my next step would have been calling a plumber since nothing else worked.

For those wondering like I was, the hose length is only 10 ft and wouldn’t reach to neither of my nearby faucets. So the combo is only useful if you’re working with a drain right next to faucet such as your washer. Otherwise it’s completely useless and a waste of money. As far as the Drain King itself, it works and does as it should.

I had a clog in my kitchen sink that WOULD NOT GO DOWN. I spent HOURS over the course of 2 weeks trying to use boiling water, drano, a plunger and even a $400 50 FOOT DRAIN AUGER that was used for my storm drain outside in the past that simply would NOT clear my sink. I had a breakdown in my kitchen crying because I really didn't want to shell out for a plumber but it was almost looking like I had no other option. I started looking for ANYTHING and stumbled upon hydrojetters, but since I don't have a pressure washer, that wasn't going to happen and then I finally found this Drain King as an alternative. I plugged this baby up and my drain had been cleared in LESS THAN 5 MINUTES. You read that correctly. I spent HOURS before trying to do what this tool had done for me in 5 MINUTES. At that point I knew I had to leave a review because it had SAVED ME. TIPS: MY issue was a lot of black sludge buildup in my pipes (in case you're having a similar issue) Also make sure ALL your pipes are fastened to each other well because if there is a weak point they WILL come out (very messy, don't recommend) from all the water pressure. Thank God and Thank you whoever invented this tool. I love you and I love it!!

Our kitchen sink had been clogged for 2 weeks. We called a plumber but his $700.00 to $1100.00 estimate scared us off. We saw the Drain King on Amazon and decided to give it a try. We were hopeful but skeptical that it would work. We hooked our garden hose up to the Drain King and turned on the water. Within 30 minutes our sink was working again! It worked great! I had a plugged laundry drain and I tried everything else (plunger, draino, shopvac drain suction attachment...) but all the methods I tried failed because the plug was beyond a branch in the drain and the presser or suction would be misdirected to the clear branch of the drain lines and into other areas of the house (toilet, sink bath tub/shower...) instead of directed towards the plug. I researched several products via youtube reviews and decided to buy this one. You feed it down the drain until you get as far as you can go. If you can get past any branches in the drain line so you have only a single drain pipe between the drain king and the clog then it is VERRY EFFECTIVE! Plumbers are expensive where I live ($110 per hour with a 1 hour minimum charge) so this was a small price to pay to save $110 on the first use. I hope I won't have to use it again soon but if I do, I am confident that I can clear the clogs in any drain in my house. I also bought a larger one as well so I can also clear my main sewer drain in case it ever gets plugged. This can work with any garden hose but I would recommend getting the set with the Drain King hose included because it is thin and more flexable than your typical garden hose so it is easier to get around bends in the drain. That being said you will not be able to feed it past a P-trap because the trap is too sharp of a corner. My P-trap has a drain at the bottom and that is where I entered the drain. It was a little tight getting in and around the last half of the P-trap but it worked.
