MegaGear MG1175 Canon PowerShot SX740 HS, SX730 HS Ever Ready Leather Camera Case with Strap - Light Brown

This is an excellent case and exactly what I was looking for!! I just bought a Canon PowerShot SX 720 camera for an upcoming vacation and needed an efficient way to carry the camera and have it ready to shoot pix at a moment's notice. The SX 720 camera is only equipped with a slot to attach a thin wrist strap. I don't like the wrist strap concept because it's not very "hands free" in my opinion. A search of Amazon brought up this little jewel. It arrived very quickly and I love the looks, quality and convenience of this set-up!! I really do like the vintage look and feel of it. Best of all, my little point & shoot looks like a *real* camera hanging around my neck!! It fit my camera very well... Even though this case is made for the 730 and I have it on my 720 (I did order the MG case made for the 720 so I could make the comparison) I prefer the little bit of extra space and the more "squared" look of this case on my camera. It's very easy to snap on and snap off the top portion while the bottom portion stays securely fastened to the camera. Having had two of these MegaGear cases in my possession, I'm very impressed with everything about them.

Looks very posh, not as practical I would honestly say. The design is cool and all and serves its purpose, it’s just not as quick to open and catch a good photo as many other products out there. Very high quality product and seems very durable. Popping the top off, then storing it etc first world problems and all. This series is extremely limited on form fitting accessories, so it’s the best you’re going to probably get aside of a generic sleeve.

I’m really happy with this camera case! It’s not only great quality, but also super cool and pretty. The strap is a game-changer – so helpful for carrying my camera around securely. I feel confident knowing that my camera is well-protected.The only downside is that you have to take the cover off to snap a photo, which makes it a little inconvenient and easy to misplace. Still, I think it’s worth it for the protection it provides. Overall, I’d recommend this case to anyone looking for a balance of style and functionality!

Very pleased with this camera. I have been using Canon cameras since I replaced my Nikkormat SLR with a new Canon digital point and shoot Power Shot S300, S500 and SX200 at the time.My SX 40 with it's extreme zoom, image stabilization, easy to use video mode with a good microphone makes this an overall great camera. Not having a microphone input is somewhat limiting, but the blue tooth helps. The electronic control functions are complete and relatively easy to use from the menu. It works very well as a camcorder even in 4k. I bought it as a referbished camera and it arrived looking and functions as new. However if I leave the battery in the camera for several days, it is completely dead. Other than that I highly recommend the SX 40.

DO NOT ORDER. total waste of money and it WILL NOT fit the camera. In Fact , I almost had to tear up my new camera to get it back so I cut the JUNKY WASTE OF MONEY POS case with a utility knife. I don’t want the money or the new case, but for your own sake DO NOT BUY. A pile of dog doo doo would be more effective.
