Great battery for your kenwood radio!
This battery is great! When I have to do a 16 hour shift at work (officer) it doesn't let me down at all, it lasts the whole shift, with the radio in use the entire 16 hours AND then it lasts another 4 hours the next day for half of the third shift. Also charges fast, under an hour for me. Been using for months and it is very reliable, definitely recommended.

You get what you paid for
Came as described… had a little issues with holding initial charge… also, didn’t last as long as I would hoped. But, price was reasonable and can’t expect too much…

Battery components good, fit is bad.
Battery charged and discharged normally. However the fit onto the radio needs better quality control. It is really tight and the grooves on an OEM Kenwood battery reveals better tolerances.

Did not Last
I purchased this battery with high hopes. Initially it worked fantastic, I did the proper Charge and discharge cycle for the battery prior to using it so it wouldn't get a memory. Well after 10 months and very limited use along with proper storage the battery has no life. It will not last 15 min without even transmitting. If I do transmit it only lasts 5 min. I will be contacting the company about their "piece of mind" warranty.

Great battery for me Kenwood TK-290
Purchased this battery for my Kenwood TK-290. It is a great battery! It last for 2 days in a charge with all day monitoring. I just ordered a second one. On the initial charge the battery did get warm but hasn't since. I highly recommend this battery.
