Helpful for elderly, but doesn't last long!
Great clock for the elderly, clear to read and fairly good accuracy, loses just a few seconds a week. Sadly, the display does not last long. This is the third one I have bought for my elderly parents (who struggle to remember the day/date) and they've all had the same issue, screen seems to last for about a year before going blank. Last one purchased 11th July 2019 and the screen went blank 7th July 2020, just to give you an idea. If you're happy with that then I would recommend for someone who is elderly (with dementia for instance) so long as you can replace it for them in about a years time!

A god send for people with memory problems
This is a god send for people with Alzheimer’s/ dementia ect .It’s very easy to read and see and has made a mass difference to my mother as she now knows what time and day it is whenever she forgets. We have tried numerous clocks and none have been very successful’ but this one is great !The phone calls to ask what day it is ect have stopped after just 3 days’ all we had to do was find the right place to put it so it was visible without having to turn her head “We put it right next to the tv ‘ as she loves her tv 🙂 “ and bingo 😃!!!!! ‘ sometimes the phone would ring 10 to 15 times a day .My advice would be to start with putting it in the same place a clock is and remove any other clocks ‘ this can confuse them .It’s made such a difference to the whole family. It’s nice and big with clear letters ect and very easy to set up.It can be wall mounted or sit on a table top ect .I’m so pleased’ that I will be getting another one very soon for the bedroom .Brilliant and a must have .Highly recommend 😀

Great clock
My mum is nearly ninety and at times she struggles to remember the day and if it’s morning or afternoon. The district nurse suggested she get a dementia clock. This clock is great. It’s large enough for my mum to see clearly. And she no longer panics about what day or time it is.

Very clear display
I bought this clock for my mother in law who has early onset dementia and sometimes has difficulty differentiating between 6 am and 6 pm so the morning, afternoon and evening display is especially useful. I also liked the fact that the time date etc was already set up and just needed to plug it in but the instructions were also very easy to understand.

Clear and simple
Elderly relative delighted with this, and finds the display easy to read. (The correct time was there as soon as it was plugged in.)The extra information saying whether it's morning, evening etc is particularly useful, especially for the winter months when it can be confusing as to whether it is 6am or 6pm when it is dark at both times (eg after naps etc). It's rather more fiddly to set up the photos option and special messages, but we're unlikely to use it for more than the time and date.

Excellent for elderly relative or friend.
I've worked with elderly people for a few years and highly recommend this clock. It can be an absolute game changer for anyone with memory problems.Bought this one for my mum who is 83 and she's in love with it already. The morning/afternoon/evening/night display is particularly useful as the dark mornings and evenings creep in. She's able to keep better track of her blister pack medication which has given her a little bit of independence back which she loves. My partner who works night shifts has now said he wants one because it's so straightforward as well so might get another one soon!

Excellent Product; Too Expensive
This is an excellent dementia clock. Large, easy to read and has some decent functions (medication reminder alarms). But it's very expensive for what it is (in my opinion).Having said that, anything that helps the patient is surely good value for money? It IS a very nice clock.
