Ergon Sm Sport Mens

Not kidding, I've tried close to 30 saddles over the past 5 years (5 were stock and the rest were purchased), and nothing compares to this Ergon saddle. I've even tried more expensive Ergon saddles, but this cheaper SM model works best for me. I've also tried other brands in all price points and designs (cutouts, curvy, flat, etc.). Keep in mind however, that saddle selection is very personal. The first bit of advice I can give is to find out your sit bone measurement. You can do that on the WTB website. Next is to make sure you get the right size saddle that is close to your sit bone measurement. And lastly, and this is a big one, really try to dial in your bike fit (height, fore/aft, tilt). Bike fit plays a HUGE role in saddle comfort. Once I dialed in the bike fit with this saddle, it is by far the best I've ever had. No numbness, no soreness, and I'm able to go 20+ miles no problem. Keep in mind I'm a big guy as well (over 250 pounds). I'm currently using it on my XC hardtail mountain bike, and I plan on buying another one for my gravel bike. I feel like this saddle on my gravel bike, I should be able to finally ride my first century!

Love this seat. I'm a big guy. At 220+ lbs I feel bad for my seat for all the abuse it must suffer. The seat complained a bit. I can swear it said something about how I'd be a much better mountain biker if I would only lose some weight. It's not wrong. I've enjoyed this new saddle for a number of 2+ hour rides and it has been comfortable. Great saddle!

Bought it for my dad’s Pivot Firebird. He had the OE saddle and the thing was ripped and it began to peel very bad quality. I have OE from specialized and it’s way better quality. I bought him this saddle and he said it’s a day and night different. It looks so professional! He’s +200lbs and I got him the large size. Fits perfectly super easy to install

i have a 24" bmx bike that's mainly street ridden,I've been on 3 saddles,had a selle smp which has a slightly slanted beak section of the seat,which imo plays havok with your perenium and after longer rides just made you numb there,i've had a planet bike ars seat which fared slightly better than the selle.The ergon had noticibly less padding but is almost completely flat and is engineered to take pressure off your perenium so you have a different posture while cycling.Keep in mind everyone's sit bones and preferences are different so buying a saddle is like trying a wine,you don't really know how you will like it without testing it for a few weeks at least but i have ergon ga-3 grips already which are amazing so I think I will be letting my ergon saddle stay on my bike!

I’ve been using the Ergon SM Sport Men’s saddle for a few weeks now, and overall, I’m very impressed with its performance and comfort. The padding strikes a nice balance—firm enough for support but still provides enough cushioning for comfort over extended periods.

Producto llego muy bien de acuerdo a la descripcion, envio rapido. Aun no pruebo la comodidad espero que sea el correcto ya que vengo probando mas de 5 modelos de otras marcas.

Although this is a bit pricey, you definitely get what you pay for. Night and day difference in quality compared to what my bike came with.

I used to ride on WTB on all my bikes, but since I had ergon grips and they felt great with no hand fatigue, I was curious how their saddles would perform. So I gave this one a shot after doing the evaluation from Ergons webpage and what was recommended. I will tell you that I have no regrets and I liked it so much I put the same ones on my other bikes.

This saddle is awesome. Instantly felt stronger and more comfortable first ride. Mostly trail / enduro riding. Sit bones measured at 125mm. Took M/L size and sit bones support is perfect. No pressure point. A bit larger than previous saddle but still ok to slide legs behind saddle in technical situations.

I have several Ergon bicycle saddles. They work well and are durable. It is interesting to note that a properly designed seat like the Ergon is more comfortable than the highly padded (fluffy) seats. Especially for long rides. This seat was for my dual suspension mountain bike, however, I have a similar seat on my hardtail mtb I use for path riding.

I have tried over 16 saddles now to find the best fit for me as well as prevent chaffing or pressure on my bo*****s. I loved ergons GA2 grips so I decided to try out their saddle and it was the best idea. Nice and comfortable, looks stunning on your bike, have amazing ergonomics and the front is slim enough to prevent friction on your inner thigh. Only issue is if your putting it on a commuter bike, expect some muck to fly up the hole in the middle and make it look like youve pooed yourself (only if its raining and you dont put a mudguard on the rear) 5 stars, would buy again to put on another bike.
